Been going here since I was a student 40 yrs ago! Love the Chicken and Fruit salad (pictured)… wonderful brownies and bran fruit muffins…they have 2 kinds of frozen yogurt good but I prefer tart favoring…was busy when we went Sunday to be served…during the week (at least in the past) no waitstaff service…nice selection of different foods for breakfast and lunch! Oh also love the raisin bread toast…thick and to die for!

We used to come to Afternoon Delight literally every day before the pandemic – it is one of our favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor! It has been a while since we last visited, so we decided to come back again today. We found the food to be delicious as always, top quality and the portions truly generous. The owner, Mrs Williams, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My wife really loves the Smoked Nova Salmon Eggs Benedict – during the weekday it is served with english muffin, but on the weekend it is specially accompanied by their signature potato pancake. The addition of capers perfectly complements the creamy bearnaise sauce, making it refreshing and well balanced. As shown in our photographs, the poached eggs appear even with running yolks – magnificent :-). The Avocado Toast AD style is composed of whole wheat bread, light, moist and creamy. I normally order a large tossed salad, which includes one of Afternoon Delight’s famous muffins, which in my opinion are the BEST in Ann Arbor! We will definitely go back again soon.

I love Afternoon Delight! It is a verifiable Ann Arbor institution. Yes, the food is delicious across the menu and the restaurant itself is clean, but the kind and attentive staff makes eating at this restaurant extra special. I’ve eaten here for several years, at one time almost every day. On the whole, Afternoon Delight offers a consistently excellent dining experience (even when they’re busy). Keep up the good work!!

Food is just OK. Service is abysmal, atmosphere is terrible. Waited in line for 20 minutes, another 20 minutes for food. Coffee was terrible and a 1 shot latte is 5.50! Wound being around 40 dollars for a mediocre breakfast for two people. Lots of very hostile signage around the restaurant. If the food was half the price, this place might be good.

My husband and I have been coming to afternoon delight for about a year as part of a weekly tradition, and we could not be happier with our experience there. Everyone is super wonderful, even when they are busy and overwhelmed. The tall and tattooed lady (Amanda) has especially been so nice to chat with, she really makes you feel like part of a community. The food is amazing, I especially love their Reuben! Give them a try and you won’t regret it 🙂

Ordered a Cowboy Coffee and when I went to drink it the rim of the glass broke off, lucky I noticed it and didn’t swallow it or got cut. I let the staff know and they told me they would get me a new coffee, however the new coffee was not what I ordered and did not taste it cost the same as what I had ordered. Was also asked not to sit at a table that was slightly dirty by the waitress stating they had a long line and couldnt clean it. She had us move but right after someone else sat at the same table and she did not ask that person to move…

The food was really good and the waitress were really nice as well. Had the Farmer’s Omelette with cranberry muffin. It’s a good place to get brunch but it’s not mimosa brunch type vibe.
