Fire. For $13 this was the best value food I had in the city. Chicken was juicy, tender and well seasoned. Rice had a nice spice level. Mac and cheese average but pairs well with the very flavorful greens and chicken.

Wow! Authentic African/Caribbean food. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and black eyed peas and spinach. I also ordered a beef patty and some coconut water. The owners/staff are so kind and you can tell the food is cooked with love. I wish I could try the goat and oxtail but I am stuffed. Large portions for a great price too. Don’t miss this place!

Price was great for the portions I got with this. The jerk chicken had so many flavors as did the spinach, broccoli, and rice it came with. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want a quick lunch. The guy that served the food was very friendly was well

I knew my daughter was at the Curb Market so I asked her to bring me something to eat. She decided to stop at this place and pick me up some oxtails.

The platter was oxtails rice and peas and cabbage. Although I’ve had a lot of oxtail planters in Atlanta this one was different. The taste of the oxtails, the gravy, the peas and the cabbage were totally on point.

The oxtails were tender but not overcooked. The flavor was very good. I have to say the rice and peas were completely cooked but not mushy. Many times when you get these platters either the rice is crunchy or the peas are crunchy. The only thing I would have wanted is more gravy. They definitely had a good flavor. Finally someone knows how to cook cabbage. Either is too much or has no flavor in other places. This place cooked it just right. I don’t know how much the planter calls exactly but I think my daughter said around $13. This price is kind of unheard of right now in Atlanta. Inflation has got the best of the food in the street and we as patrons understand but it’s always nice to see a business kind of work with their customers.

I would definitely return to get more and to try something different. Give this business a shot whenever you at the Curb Market.

It’s a cafeteria style place. Food is excellent. Service is sweet and pleasant. Their oxtail and goat curry have never let me down. We’ve been coming here since my freshman at Georgia state university. There’s always a line, but it move quickly. Parking is 1 hour free with validation.

Oh wow, real African food in Atlanta! My wife just came back from West Africa and she said the goat curry and veggies are just like back there.

As for me, I just want my plantains, everything else just nice additions. 🙂

BEST “quik stop” OXTAILS IN ATLANTA! Been coming to this place for 15 years. The consistency of taste at this place since day one is the thing. We’re there times when Ox Tails weren’t super tender? Yes, but 90% of the time they’re fall off the bone melt on your mouth good! Extra gravy pleeeze!

I stopped here when checking out the Curb Market last week during a work conference. I did a few laps to take in the food options of the market but my eyes kept looking back towards AfroDish where there was a steady line of lunchtime customers. I got oxtail, seasoned rice, plantains, cabbage and a coke. It was absolutely delicious, fairly priced, and run by super friendly staff. The menu is right on top of the counter for the main entrees but the sides I had trouble seeing what was available and making up my mind…probably because I was dying with anticipation to eat all of it! Check this place out!
