Banging!!! Ever since Maddys in Concord closed, we have been looking for a place with authentic African cuisine and this place hits all the marks! The pondu and fufu is amazing (although I will ask for spicy next time because only the pepper sauce on the side came with heat). We got it with the goat stew which was rich and tender. The Attiéké was sour and flavorful, and really complimented the snapper. The samosas were delicious, and came with 7 which is a great deal for the price. The jollof was good, but the portion size was on the smaller size and was not spicy at all. The flavor was definitely there go. 10/10 would recommend and will be going back soon.

If you’re looking for authentic African food in Manchester, NH, Afro Fusion Lounge on Hannover Street in downtown Manchester is a must-visit. It’s one of the best new African restaurants in Manchester and brings together flavors from across West and Central Africa — including Congo and Liberia — along with Caribbean influences.

Every dish feels intentional and rooted in tradition. You can taste the quality and care in the ingredients. The Red Snapper and fried plantains were standout favorites — perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of bold African flavor.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owners make you feel at home the moment you walk in, which makes the whole experience even better. Manchester truly needed a restaurant like this.

If you’re searching for African cuisine in Manchester NH, West African food, or something different and authentic in downtown Manchester, Afro Fusion Lounge absolutely delivers. Go support this local gem.

I was looking forward to eating African food in Manchester and was very surprised at the price at the end of my meal. They do not provide prices to the guest and make the prices up at the end. Snapper Fish, FuFu, Cassava Leaves, White Rice, Goat & Plantain with 2 drinks came up to $192!!! I have never been to an African Restaurant in my entire life where the final check amount was so high. So a meal for 3 people ultimately was $60 Fufu and Cassava leaves was alone $31. For the price the food was just ok. I think the price overshadowed the actual food. This is a new restaurant, their strategy should be to want to attract or retain customers with affordable prices. But instead they will chase customers away with the price. I was very diss appointed. This was ridiculous.

My first experience was great. I order almost everything on the menu to try all the food and they did not disappoint. Everything was on point and excellent and prices are absolutely reasonable with all the hard work they put in it. when you go to authentic African food expect to pay for the good food that you’re eating.

The food is actually a bomb. The Goat meat was fire. First time I tried the Attiéke and it was amazing. The presentation was very good too.

A breath of fresh air in Manchester! Amazing food and vibes. The goat stew is out of this world and don’t skip the beignets or the plantains.
