The food here was amazing, I didn’t know what to expect. It was my first experience and I’m so glad I was able to experience great service and amazing food. The portions were perfect, I was so full by the time I left. Thank you all so much, I will be back.

This experience was PHENOMENAL. The staff was friendly and very helpful in explaining the ingredients. They serve no pork and the food is all halal.

Some of the food is a little spicy but you can ask to ensure what you order isn’t too much to handle.

I WILL be bringing my friends back.

This was my first time eating African food…this was an AMAZING experience from start to end! My friends and I were greeted enthusiastically and given samples of the food to begin our journey with African food. Every single sample was flavorful, spicy, and comforting. The waiter encouraged us to eat certain ones together, taste the different layers of flavors, and experience different African cuisine. We were taught the proper way to eat fufu with the different soups and stews, then offered more and more food until we were satisfied. At the end, the price for three people given all the food we got was extremely reasonable! You could feel the passion and excitement coming from the people in this restaurant. They were genuinely excited to share food with us, and they created a relationship with us in a way no restaurant ever has. Overall, I felt like I was part of their family, and we were treated as such. This was an amazing experience and we WILL be back here for sure!!!

Had one of the best experiences ever in my life at this place. Went in there hoping to eat jollof rice, since it’s one of the few African dishes that I’m familiar with. But me and my buddy ended up having Fufu with Egusi and Efo at the restaurant and getting Jollof Rice to go. We were served by a gentleman name Dele(I hope I got his name right). Since it was me and my buddy’s first time there he offered us to give some samples to try before we place our orders even though we were ready to order Jollof Rice as usual. It was extremely generous and nice of him to make that offer. We tried a little bit of Jollof Rice, Beans, Egusi and Efo. They all tasted out of this world. But I specifically fell in love with Egusi and Efo. I asked if I could get Efo with my Jollof Rice even though it’s not a usual order. Usually Efo and Egusi come with Fufu. He asked if I don’t want Fufu. Then I told him that I haven’t had Fufu before. Then he went back to the kitchen; brought a dish full of Efo and Egusi with 3 balls of Fufu and gave me a crash course of how to eat Fufu. That was awesome. I absolutely loved every bit of it. We ended up filling ourselves with Fufu. So we got the Jollof Rice to go with the last bit of left over Egusi and Efo with Fufu. As I was packing up my leftovers, Dele noticed that I had barely any Egusi and Efo left to take home. He offered to give me more Egusi and Efo to take home with me. Of course I couldn’t say no to it. So, I ended up going home with Jollof Rice, Fufu, Egusi and Efo. I can say I’m overjoyed with my experience.
Dele really showed me that he truly wants his customers to have the best possible experience there. He easily could’ve just given us Jollof Rice and called it a day. But he went above and beyond; took his time; conversed with us; learned about us , and gave us the best possible option. I cannot recommend this place enough. Whenever I come to Pittsburgh, I’ll be sure to stop by.

Came here with my mom and thought it wouldn’t be expensive. Turns out just for fufu and okra stew with turkey that tasted like it was sat out and never put away was like almost 40$ and it was very small portions on both sides. And to think that the drinks were like almost 3$ dollars. And we didn’t put a tip but the main guy decided to put his own tip of 7$ for low quality service. The guy was nice but they would try and charge you arm and leg just for a small side. In total my paycheck came out to almost 60$! I could go to mac Donalds and buy a good amount of cheese burgers for that price. But for a restaurant that sells small portions for a high price will be my first and final day I’ll ever come here again.

The food here was beyond exceptional, literally delicious. My only issue was that the portions are very small. Small locally owned restaurant. Worth checking out. Just eat before you go to feel full.

We had an amazing experience! We went to try Fufu and was given step by step tutorial on how to eat it and what kind there were. He gave us samples before we ordered to see if we liked it before actually ordering, which was amazing. Very socialable and kind atmosphere. Very great experience!

Food was Good but the quantity of the food compared to the price is ridiculous. Spent over 70$ and the food was so small like am I begging for the food or what …. Anyways nice food like I said but if you hungry and want to eat and be filled up yeah this is not the place do not make a mistake to stop here ….. my friend even wanted bread and beans he was told to pick something else they don’t want to sell him bread ( some flimsy excuses) anyway food was ok ish, good service, quantity 0 … a 5yrs old boy wouldn’t be satisfied I promise…
