First time to try Afghan food, all wonderful to me. Lamb stew is rich, a bit spicy, meat tender without much lamb flavor, perfect with Nann bread which is full of wheat aroma. I personally love beef patty, beef and chicken skewers more than roasted chunky chicken which is a bit harder, but all great with sauce. Chickpeas is my favorite, the best ever had. Definitely Would try next time for other varieties.

After moving from Canada, our foodie hearts kept yearning for that perfect Kadhai and the classic Sunday breakfast—Poori, Halwa, and Cholle. We tried several places, but none truly hit the mark—until now.

This spot not only lived up to our expectations but, at times, exceeded them. The Kadhai was exceptional—rich, flavorful, and as close to authentic as it gets (and we’ve had some of the best in Toronto, so the bar was pretty high!). The portion size was generous, and the naan complemented it beautifully.
The real treat, though, was the breakfast buffet. For just $20, you get an unlimited spread featuring Chaanay, Potato Tarkari, Halwa, Shakshouka (an egg-based dish), and Chai. Everything was delicious and well-balanced in flavor. We’ve tried plenty of breakfast spots, but this one firmly holds a place in our top five.
Of course, taste is subjective—but if you enjoy hearty, authentic flavors, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

The food was super tasty and fresh. We ordered chicken karahi, mixed platter, and chanay, and everything was full of flavor. Their chicken karahi is legit and highly recommended. The platter meat was soft and spicy, the platter had a nice mix of meats, and the chanay tasted just like homemade.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely one of the best meals we’ve had in a while — can’t wait to go back!

We had such a great experience here! We ordered the lamb shank, grilled platter, chapli kebab, mango lassi, and rice pudding and everything was absolutely delicious. The lamb shank was incredibly tender and flavorful, the chapli was perfectly seasoned, and the grilled meats were cooked just right. The mango lassi was refreshing and the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, and the rice pudding was a wonderful way to finish the meal. On top of the amazing food, the people were super nice and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their guests. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently visited Afghan Kebab in Cary, NC, and found it to be an average takeout experience overall. The food was okay, but there were several shortcomings that made it less enjoyable. The rice was overcooked and tasted unappetizing, while the bread was overly thick and spongy, which I didn’t prefer. Portions were smaller than expected, and basic essentials like napkins, cutlery, and salad were missing, which was disappointing.

On the positive side, the restaurant was clean, and the customer service was fine nothing outstanding, but they were polite and accommodating. Overall, it’s not a place I would go out of my way to visit again, but it might work for someone looking for a quick and simple Afghan style meal.

First off, the food was REALLY good, which is part of the reason why the ratings are so high. Afghan food feels like a mix of Indian and Mediterranean. Love the flavors. We had a number 8 and a number 12. The kebab meat was perfect as was the 1/2 chicken. The salad was something I’d go back for again, for sure. Really fresh ingredients. The food is served FAMILY STYLE, which is why it’s a little on the pricey side. We could have easily shared one dish between the two of us. The service was great. The employees were warm and welcoming. The strip mall feel and the makeshift sign out front weren’t enough to deter us. The only feedback I’d offer on improvements is that it would have been nice to have real plates (instead of paper) and real utensils (instead of plastic). It was just hard to eat the food on disposable dishes with plastic utensils. Given a choice between the two, I’d go with actual utensils. The drink options are pretty limited and the mango drinks weren’t made fresh to order. We bought two bottled waters.

Delicious food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was incredibly flavorful. The Spiced Chickpeas are an absolute showstopper, but we also enjoyed the Aushak (which is vegetarian), the Beef Kobidah Wrap (a lunch special), and the Firni for dessert. The Naan was fluffy and wonderful, too. This was our first time trying Afghani food, and it will definitely not be our last. We will absolutely be back!

I had the Beef Kobidah and it was worth every penny. Everything including the chickpeas were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend this establishment.

We tried their Sunday brunch. I think it would be more appropriate to describe it as a halwa puri nashta. The brunch on regular weekends is only halwa/puri/chana/aloo and shakshuka with lassi. Other items such as nihari or keema needed to be ordered and paid for separately. The halwa and channa were well made, along with them serving fresh puri for every table. The aloo tarkari could use additional spice or at least have the option of achar on the side should be made available. The nihari was acceptable but was not served with any condiments not even lemon. The naan was pretty sad and seemed to be microwaved. While the restaurant is very clean, it would be nice if the staff was more warm and welcoming.

This restaurant serves the best Afghan dishes. The place is clean, and the food is incredibly delicious. The dishes look like they were made in their home country. I recommend everyone to try this restaurant. Also, their portions are generous and filling. The desserts are tasty too, especially the baklava. This is an excellent spot for people who want to experience authentic Afghan cuisine. I highly recommend it.

Finally, I want to thank them for their kind and respectful service.
