We’ve never tried Aegea before but we gave it a try during an UberEats pizza promotion. It has reached the top tier of our family’s unofficial pizza rating system. Great balance of sauce, cheese and delicious crust. Not too thin, not too doughy. Crust doesn’t get soggy like some others do. The photo is leftover pizza warmed up and it’s still very good! (45 seconds microwave, finish toasting on pan) Thank you!

They provided a large tray of Greek salad that was an absolute standout. The salad was incredibly fresh and vibrant, with crisp cucumbers, juicy tomatoes, crunchy peppers, and tangy Kalamata olives. The feta cheese was creamy and plentiful, and the homemade dressing was perfectly balanced with olive oil and oregano. It was a refreshing and healthy highlight that our guests truly appreciated.

Just had a pork souvlaki stick from Aegea West in Douglaston — tender, juicy, and perfectly grilled with that classic char. I also tried the charcoal-grilled burger, and it was a sleeper hit — smoky, well-seasoned, and cooked over real fire, which you don’t find often at casual spots like this.
I got to chat with Mike, the owner, who’s been holding it down here for 21 years — a real accomplishment in such a tough industry. Coming from a family that ran a restaurant, I respect how much work and heart that takes. Update 11/25/17: This is the third time in a row that Iorder delivery from this place and my cheeseburger gets delivered soggy from “throwing it” in the same container as the salad with dressing on it, causing it to get absorbed by the bun. They also “stuff” the french fries in with the burger and salad, ehich actually don’t fit, and everything gets squashed (see photos). The fries end up soggy also because of the salad dressing. They never care about packing the food correctly and how it actually reaches the customer. Downgrading them from 4 stars to 2 stars of my original review.

Take out. Came fast. Ordered here the falafel Sandwich, it was alright. Good quality and quantity. I’ve definitely had better though. The tzakki is alright as well, very plain for my palate.
