Let me start by saying that as someone who identifies as Mexican, I am very strict about my Mexican food – especially being born and raised in Houston, one of the best places for Mexican food in the US.

With that in mind, I think Adrian’s is one of the better Mexican restaurants in Fulshear but that’s not saying much given its options. I tried both the quesobirria tacos and regular carne asada beef tacos (La Cecina), which were good enough. I’ve definitely tried better places in Houston but Adrian’s left my family and I satisfied. The prices were also extraordinary high, which is another star against them.

Overall, I think Adrian’s is a great place for Mexican food in Fulshear, but nothing amazing in the context of Houston/Katy area.

I ordered tacos through my friend to find out they were $5 tacos and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. There was very little filling inside, and it felt overpriced for what was served. I’ve never been to a place where 1 taco was $5

The food was good but man, these prices are ridiculously high! Paid $47 for 2 people.

Would much rather go to a restaurant, at least I’d get free chips & salsa there.

I really wanted to like this place. I found Adrian’s Mexican Street Food on Instagram and the food looked great online especially the Trompos de Pastor, which was the main reason we came.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other family there no wait and plenty of seating, which was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, so that’s a plus.

Unfortunately, the food itself was a big letdown.

The trompo machine looked impressive, but in person they couldn’t get it working properly. It took over 20 minutes just to get it going, and even then the meat wasn’t cooked correctly. When it finally came to the table, the pastor was cold, not flavorful, and honestly tasted cheap and commercial, not authentic at all especially disappointing coming from a Mexican customer. For $45 just for the trompo, it was nowhere near worth it. Most of it was left untouched.

I also tried the quesabirria tacos. They were okay, but again lacked flavor. The chips were hard and almost stale, the salad wasn’t good, and the chips & salsa something I usually love were very disappointing.

The corn in a cup was cold and tasted like canned corn with stale Hot Cheetos on top. We didn’t even finish the food because it was that bad.

This might be an okay spot for drinks or happy hour, but not if you’re actually hungry. It’s frustrating when a new place looks great online but completely misses the mark in person.

I truly wanted to enjoy this spot, but the food quality just wasn’t there.

I was staying in the Holiday Inn not far from here. I wanted something to eat, so I chose this place. The atmosphere seemed nice. There was inky 1 table being served at the time. I had take-out. I ordered the Tacos Al Pastor and 1 Elote with 2 Mexican Coke. An order of Flour Tacos comes with 3 tacos, and corn comes with 5. I had the flour. Delivery of the food from order to in-hand was quick. Once I got back to my room, I consumed the food. The tacos were flavorful, but left more to be desired. They only included 3 small wedges of pineapple instead of enough pineapple for more than 1 bite. There were some lightly sauteed onion, chopped onion, and chopped cilantro. I asled for Salsa Roja and Verde. I didn’t like either. Both were way too spicy for my taste, so I didn’t bother with it. The Elote came with butter, mayo, cheese, Chamoy, and firey cheetos. Since I already don’t like those kinds of cheetos, I didn’t use them. I mixed the other ingredients together, and then ate it. The flavor was alright. Not bad, but not “blow-your-socks-off”. They do offer cocktails like margaritas, and suck, but assuming they’re in a standard – type cocktail cup, they’re way overpriced. $15 for a cocktail in a small Mexican joint is insane pricing. Doesn’t matter though, as I couldn’t have it anyways. Just a heads up for those that do partake after seeing this review.

All in all, the food was quick and good. The staff was nice, and the atmosphere from what I observed was good. 10/10 recommended.

We asked Adrians to help cater our wedding with their taco truck/cart service and wow….

We were so, so happy and appreciative! They arrived at the venue early and were so sweet to our guests.

Our guests had overwhelmingly positive reviews about the quality and taste of the tacos (multiple protein options). Many went back for seconds and even thirds. I’ll definitely keep them in mind for our next event.

Thank you guys for making our wedding more memorable and fun!

Excellent selection of authentic Mexican. We were a group of seven and everyone’s dishes were fantastic. The meat and the ingredients were done to perfection. Does not look like much from the outside, may be a little sketchy next to the laundromat. But worth it.

We were looking for good Mexican food in the area since we were visiting and my brother recommended this place because he’s been here before. Oh my! Am I sure glad he told us about this place! The food was AMAZING and I have to say the Taco Mix plate is the best order of tacos I’ve ever had! The food is rich in flavor and true to the authenticity of Mexican food. The Spanish music made the ambience even more authentic to the heart of Mexico. Eduardo was our server and he was so kind and helpful! Thank you for making this a great first visit Eduardo!

FYI – We told our friends about how good the food is here and they are coming tomorrow to eat here since they are also visiting the area. ☺️

Service was amazing. Love the fact that they are bilingual and are able to help in both language. The food looks and tastes delicious and fresh. The carne asada was sooo tasty. My birria tacos was sooo good. The agua fresca was soooo refreshing. We will be coming back whenever visiting here.
