It’s hard not to give a 5 star review for this place. I have not been to Haitian grocery store since 2008, when I move to Texas. I need to get some Moru & Aran my aunt recommended me to this place. I went there in a rush before my flight, as soon as I walk in I saw a lady in front I ask for some assistance, she was very rude and pointed to the back. As I went to the back of the store, I saw a lovely young woman, I explained to her how I was in a rush to catch a flight this was my first time year. She proceeded to get a bag and help me shop, give me some advice on what to get. I ended up spending more than what I originally planned but her customer service skills was what made me purchase. Some of the staff does need to be trained when it comes to customer service.

I consider this like the Haitian Costco, minus the cleanliness, order and organization. You will find products that come directly from Haiti ( mud/dirt cookies, djon djon(black mushroom) , chocolate, nuts, pilon ( mortar and pestle) too much to name
– there are only 2-3 lines and they accept cash, debit card, Apple Pay and food stamps. They are not organized so be patient. There are local vendors outside selling oils, Knick knacks amongst other things. It reminds me of marketplace from out of this country. I don’t mind coming here.

I absolutely love this spot. I have dreams of the food! I was introduced to this place back in 2012 with my friends from Little Haiti. This quickly became my must go to spot any time I visit. I absolutely love the authenticity of this place, the food and the people. So happy to see they are still up and running after covid. I cant wait to get back!!!

My mom loves coming here. My problem is the lack of parking. There is no parking and other vendors are also crowding up the one way street dead end street.
I give it a 4 stars because my mom loves shopping here for her Haitian caribbean items that she says she cannot find any where else.
The 1 star deduction is for the lack of parking. I don’t like to go in the store so I wait for my mom outside. I am constantly having to keep moving my car out of the way so I don’t block other cars from going by.

Please update your doordash menu, A lot of items are not listed on the menu.. BOUYON, KALALOU, DIRI BLAN, DYONDYON AND KOLE…SOUP JOUMOU SIDE ITEMS. Motherwise awesome service. Take care..

I love their delicious food!!!!! They have good prices under $10.00. The place is very unique and clean. People in the Restaurant that serve you well, make me feel like family. I absolutely enjoy them. When you’re entering the blue building, walk to your right to go upstairs for this dining area.

This was my first time in this restaurant and my experience wasn’t bad at all. The dining area was exactly how I like it, small and cozy. The hostess who took mine and my husband’s order was nice and polite, which is something we appreciated because a lot of Floridians are not. At the same time, I think the establishment can benefit from some stronger tables & chairs for patrons to dine on. Our squash & cabbage soup wasn’t bad either.

Entering through the wholesale area is daunting but once inside the restaurant it is worth the mini-adventure! Good food at great prices and lovely clean dining area. The staff members are friendly and helpful, ask for daily specials.

Unbeatable prices!!! Just make sure you don’t buy anything out of their boxes like I bought some cereal without boxes and realize they were expired when I got home. The cereals tasted bad!! Which means they have been selling them while expired for a few days, that’s the reason why they removed the boxes so you won’t notice or check the expiration date.
