I LOVE adobo, but I hadn’t had it in years. It’s randomly kind of hard to find filipino restaurants in abundance. Anyway, my friend Henrik showed me this video of Cameron Diaz doing a bad filipino accent and saying “adobo” and it immediately woke up my adobo desires again. We visited Adobo Shack and were greeted by the owner, Love Krina. She is incredibly kind and puts a lot of care into her business and customers. We got many different menu items and they were all amazing. I ordered the Beef Adobo two more times in the following couple weeks. Definitely go here.

This Filipino restaurant was so disappointing. In summary, the food was bland and seemed like it was reheated, not fresh.
Would not recommend. I gave 2 stars to give credit for at least a couple of positives.

We tried 5 different Filipino dishes. Pancit, Dinuguan, Lechon Kawali, and (of course) Lumpia.

Pancit noodles had absolutely no flavor. The veggies were nicely cooked. Noodles were soggy and flavorless.

Lumpia – The wrappers were soft, no crunch. These were either left under a lamp too long or microwaved leftovers. If these were fresh, they would have been crunchy. The pork inside was delicious and hearty portions. (This gave my overall review an extra star.)

Dinuguan – It was just ok. There wasn’t a lot of gravy in the stew and what was there had curdled or broke. Not great. Again, I wonder how long that had been sitting.

Lechon Kawali – Dry, overcooked pork with some crunch. It clearly was overcooked. And, again, I wonder if this was sitting and had to be re-fried. It tasted like that.

Food taste good. I didn’t like how I had to order 2 portions of meat and comes with rice, but you have to order sides separately.
Very, very small portions. We spent 45$ on 2 plates, 1 small side and we shared a soda.

I stood waiting to order as none else was In line for about 5 minutes. Not one of the two staff spoke to me or asked me to wait while they got the cashier to take my order.

I ordered the Huli-Huli chicken that’s comes with white rice and Mac salad. I was told (again no one had orders in ahead of me that I could see) my order would be ready in about 6 minutes. I watched others order their food and orders come out while I was still waiting for mine. I waiting 22 minutes for order to be done. I asked for sauce and was told there was sauce in my togo container. Once I got into my food there was a very small amount of huli huli sauce on the meat over the thick bead of rice. The sauce didn’t even soak into the top layer of the rice under the meat.

The scoop of Mac salad didn’t even fill the section in the taco container it was placed into. It looked as if the scoop was made with a mini cookie scoop.

I would recommend considering another food court location as this was beyond disappointing. Keep in mind you are asked for a tip at purchase and that’s before any service is really provided. I felt my tip was not worth the time or food from this place.

I’d give it a 4.5 star for the huli huli dish. Pretty good Hawaiian meal with tender, flavorful chicken that had a nice smoky glaze. The portions were good, and the Mac salad (had some pineapple bits) complemented the main dish well. It had a bit of Filipino influence. I’d go back for another plate.

The most authentic Filipino food I’ve had in a while. Pretty much tried every Filipino food on their menu and they’re all 10/10! The chef and the staff are all friendly and nice! Their extra menu this weekend was really good. I love the tinola, definitely the pansit is like so authentic. I don’t eat dinuguan but it was so good. The menudo is so good too. Everything is just delicious! The rice was perfectly cooked!

I tried the bola bola first. It was delicious. Everything else paled in comparison. Huli huli chicken was bland and had mushy rice. The dinuguan was very good and the macaroni salad was too sweet. I would absolutely recommend the bola bola snd the dinuguan.

Adobo Shack truly delivers the best of Filipino comfort food! Their signature adobo is rich and flavorful, with tender meat that’s cooked to perfection! just like a warm, home-cooked meal. The crispy lumpia is an absolutely amazing, perfectly golden and bursting with flavor in every bite. I was also blown away by their juicy and smoky Hawaiian huli-huli chicken , which adds a unique twist that keeps you coming back for more. The turo-turo style setup makes it so easy and fun to explore a variety of dishes, all served fresh and with generous portions. On top of that, the staff specially their Chef, Love Krina gives warmth and hospitality make every visit feel like you’re dining with family. Adobo Shack is definitely a must visit spot for anyone craving authentic Filipino favorite! Will definitely come back here! Thank you Adobo Shack! ✨
