We had a great experience at Aadithi Indian Restaurant. We started with the appetizers—Chicken 65, fish, and malai fish—and every one of them was flavorful and cooked perfectly. For the main course, we had chicken biryani and another chicken curry, and both were absolutely spot on—rich, well-balanced flavors and clearly made with care.

The service was excellent as well. Albert took great care of us and really knew what he was doing, which made the whole experience even better.

Overall, great food, great service, and a place we’ll definitely be coming back to again. Highly recommended.

Such a delightful experience! The cozy holiday ambiance, excellent service, and authentic flavors made our visit memorable. They even brought complimentary Papadum, which was a lovely start.
We enjoyed Chicken Tikka, Saag Paneer, Biryani, Ras Malai sweet dessert, and a refreshing Mango Lassi drink, everything was delicious and beautifully presented.
A must-visit this Indian restaurant in Alexandria for great Indian food and a warm dining experience! ✨

i knew if the food ended up being good that i wanted to write a review after, because i looked at them prior to coming here and was almost dissuaded to come in due to the negative vegetarian reviews i saw. i was so pleasantly surprised! they don’t have paneer tikka masala on the menu, but they will make it for you if you ask! we got that, samosas, the malai kofta, and the BEST garlic naan i have ever had. service was quick and the ambience was lovely. the only thing we didn’t love as much was their version of the malai kofta- the sauce was different & there werent many cashews, but it was still good!

Good food! The chicken saag was a bit lackluster in flavor, but good over all! I also ordered cheese naan….they were pretty stingy with the cheese (paneer)….was just regular naan with little crumbles of paneer. We also ordered the brussel sprouts app, yummy but more fried than brussel sprouts. Sauce was yummy!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aditi Indian Cuisine in Alexandria, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. We tried a variety of dishes, and each one was a delightful surprise.

For our main courses, I had the Chicken Biryani, and my partner had the Cochin Shrimp Curry paired with Kerala-style Parotta. shrimp curry was a standout—creamy, well-balanced with just the right level of tanginess, and the Parotta was flaky and authentic, hitting that perfect note of crisp and softness you’d expect from a Kerala-style bread.

For starters, we had this wonderful Malai Shrimp dish infused with cardamom and a hint of mint. It was creamy and rich without being heavy, and I’d definitely recommend it as a must-try appetizer. We also enjoyed a baby spinach chaat that added a nice crunch and fresh flavor to the start of the meal.

They also served a beautiful blue-hued drink made from the extract of Shankupushpam flowers (butterfly pea flower), which was both visually stunning and delicious, especially with the dried lime garnish. If you’re into trying unique beverages, that one is a highlight.

The ambiance of Aditi is elegant and welcoming. The décor is lovely, the noise level is comfortable, and the service is top-notch—professional, courteous, and very accommodating. It’s a great spot for families, groups, or anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine in a refined setting. They have a nice selection of Kerala-inspired dishes hidden in the menu, so there’s plenty to explore if you love South Indian flavors.

Overall, highly recommend Aditi Indian Cuisine. It’s a gem in Alexandria, and we’ll definitely be back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High-quality food and service!

Aditi is hands-down our favorite spot for dinner. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts and samosa chaat—both were incredible. For mains, the Tandoori and Kabob platters were cooked to perfection, and the Chicken Vepudu and Tikka Masala were packed with flavor.

Everything was fantastic, but the service really made the night. Albert and his team took amazing care of us as always. Highly recommend!

This place used to be one of our favourite Indian restaurants in Virginia. But unfortunately it appears that they may have changed hands. The last couple of times we have visited we’ve been extremely disappointed both with the staff, service and food. After ordering our food we then started to notice that tables who had ordered after us started to get their meal. After 45 minutes, we questioned where our food was, to be told that it was on its way. When the food eventually turned up, there was no apology for the wait. We asked for our dishes to be spicy, but we were underwhelmed with the flavour. When we questioned why it took so long for our meal to be delivered, they blamed it on the bread that we had ordered. We pointed out that it would’ve been courteous if they’d have warned us how long the bread might have taken to cook. On googling the recipe for the bread the description said that it takes 30 to 40 seconds to cook.

The food was good overall. The butter chicken was tender with a tasty sauce, though it could have had a bit more flavor. The paneer was also enjoyable. Service, however, was slow—it took about 20 minutes to place our order despite the restaurant being empty on a Friday night.
