The crowd is very local. Bartender is nice but sore and slow. The Favorite burger was very good. NE clam chowder was very tasty but the search for clams was not too easy. Beer was cold. Fresh glass every round. I would definitely try it again.

This is everything you could ask for in a Jersey tavern. We stumbled upon it after a funeral and it was fantastic. Rene took amazing care of us. We had gravy fries and a tuna melt. All amazing. Managed to play a little Keno, too. Highly reccomend this place!

Loud enough for us to eat outdoors in the heat. The friendly bartender Renee sat us, Great long island iced tea! Needed to return over cooked steak got back med rare wet meat with brown gravy hard as spackle. Couldn’t find the waitress, finally left. By 6:30 am the following day I was sick. What hurts is when after work I went back to warn Renee, twice she said ” you don’t really know you got sick from eating here” (?) Having eaten oatmeal before and nothing after dinner YES I know that food made me sick! The worse $100 w/tip spent. Never again…
