Adeline’s is a prohibition themed, speakeasy style restaurant and bar, locally owned and operated in Cumberland, RI. Hidden gem of northern RI! I went to Adeline’s for the first time ever this weekend and was pleasantly surprised! Google Maps was a little confused about how to get there, but it just made the experience feel even more like a real speakeasy.

We love to come to Adeline’s for the Al Capone steak, the deviled eggs and the Mac N Cheese of the day. We also enjoy the home-made potato chips with cheese sauce. We recommend asking for the sauce on the side. The live entertainment is nice too, and they do offer outdoor seating for the nice weather.

This was a very nice experience. I ordered the award winning poutine and a Juicy Lucy burger with a side of slaw. The presentation of everything was very well done. The poutine was a meal unto itself, but wasn’t overly flavorful. Good fries, Shredded Cheese and beef, it was very filling. The side of slaw was beautiful also, creamy, but not a lot of flavor. Same with the burger. Really nice looking but average tattooing. The women waiting on me were the highlight of the meal. Very friendly, personable and warm. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.1.

Giving a three stars because the food here was really good. Came here early on St. Patrick’s Day with the family and they were accommodating. The issues that came about or like others have mentioned our server had too much to drink, and was cursing at the table for getting orders, asking numerous times of what people are having etc. another server had to take over as our waitress was stumbling throughout the time we were there, and this was at 6:30 PM. I thought this was an isolated incident again because it’s St. Patrick’s Day, but reading all the reviews appears to be the norm. Hopefully management will put some policies into place.

This was the 1st time going to this place and I had high hopes for it. There were 7 of us in our party and I have to say, due to our drunk waitress, this was the worst dining experience of my entire life. The issues started the moment we sat down and continued on the entire duration that we were there. The entire staff knew the issues we were having and not one person came to our table to make things right. Due to us making a reservation, management had my full name and cell # and not one person reached out to us with an apology. I will never step foot into this establishment again.

Always delicious food and a good atmosphere. I lean towards the revenge, black & blue burger or mac n cheese. Band nights on Saturdays are a good time, as well as trivia on Mondays
