I have visited Addison Ice House more than several times. The food and beer selection are very consistent and always satisfying. The atmosphere is also quite enjoyable – a good spot to catch a game or grab a drink with friends.

I visited this spot for Trivia Tuesdays and enjoyed the low-key and chill environment they had to offer. I ordered a cosmopolitan and it was delicious! ☺️ This place is located next to beautiful Vitruvian park, so it is located in a very nice area. This place is a great choice for drinks with friends and if you are into trivia, this is a good spot to do this at! I also thought their vending machine was super neat! Definitely worth checking out and returning to.

This used to be *the place* after playing Volleyball run by LoneStar SSC. However, on the last two visits we were never waited on and ended up leaving and going to the competition across the street. This is the first time I’ve ever had bad service here. Short-staffed? Who knows but we sat at a table and no one came over to take a drink or food order. In fact, the kitchen closes at 10 pm.

Went here after seeing the Vitruvian Lights at Christmas. We saw this place and decided to check it out. We ordered the sample platter ($20) and it was HUGE as you can see! All the food 9n it was very good as well. Their selection of beers is very lackluster. I expected much better being called an “ice house”. The atmosphere is very nice with plenty of big TVs so if you want to watch a game, this is a good place to go for that. They were showing the 2018 cotton bowl and they had the sound in for it which was nice. I’m a beer nerd, so the fact that they didn’t hardly have a selection of beers means I probably won’t go back even as good ss the food is (and also why they only get 3 stars). If you call yourself an “ice house” you shou li d have more the 7-8 beers on tap. Cheers!

We sat down, and we’re immediately greeted with menus and our drinks were out fast. Then everything went down hill. Keep in mind there were only 4 other people here. It took the waitress 10 minutes to see what we wanted to eat. She only over heard my partner complain. We ordered our appetizer and our meals since we had more than enough time to decide. I kid you not we have NEVER experienced such poor service. it took 40 minutes to get our food. THEY served our starter with our meal. Absolutely baffling. The food was average, and cold at this point since it was sitting on the bar to be served for about 20 minutes. Also our order was incorrect. Please save your money and time.

Came in sat down at the bar, the bartender told me several times he’d “be right with me” but served people walking in after me instead. Waited 25 minutes at the bar no drink or service. I ended up just leaving and going to a different bar.

I must say I really loved this place! It’s low-key and they place a decent variety of music like hip hop, country, and classics. The food was great! I couldn’t resist when they told me they smoke their own brisket!

Came here on Thursday night! It’s a low key chill bar. Didn’t know it was free taco bar with drinks! My friends and I had a great time just drinking and catching up. Couldn’t bet the prices for well drinks honestly. Felt bad because it was only two people bartending and serving! They were fantastic guys though! Definitely coming back!

We hosted a happy hour at Addison Ice House with about 30 attendees. It was so much fun! The service was top notch, appetizers were great (and super well priced on the Wednesday special), and drink prices were great! It’s a fun, laidback atmosphere and the bartenders were all so kind and attentive. Bonus that you can see the Vitruvian Christmas lights form the patio! Will definitely be be back again.
