I was instantly greeted as soon as someone saw me. I picked a table by the window and got myself situated. I ordered coffee and it was brought out right away. I did check out the menu while I was waiting at the hospital so I knew what I wanted. I got myself the eggs and bacon breakfast with a side of fruit.
It wasn’t really busy so my food came out pretty fast. I asked my server for to go packets of salt and pepper since I can’t really use the communal salt and pepper shaker due to my new kidney. My server was great, grabbed me a couple packets and didn’t treat me like I was weird for asking.
My eggs were cooked med and jammy in the middle. My bacon was salty and savory. My coffee was fresh and hot. It’s the perfect breakfast for me. My side of fruit was ok. The banana was pre cut so it looked kinda funky since it probably had been sitting for a bit. My orange and apple slices looked good. I did just have a couple orange slices. I have to be careful with produce and I didn’t know if the apples were properly cleaned so I didn’t want to risk it. The apple slices liked fresh and I’m pretty sure they were good.
The venue is very cute and bright. I love the chalk artwork on the blackboard. My server was really sweet and everyone else that was working was nice. My food was great. I look forward to coming back. Especially in the spring, they have a fun outdoor seating area. Breakfast or brunch would be great of there.
I had the traditional bacon and eggs. It was good. The toast was a little on the burnt side.
I was taken by surprise that toast was an additional 2.60. I guess I expected it as standard equipment.
Breakfast for me and hot chocolate and a side of bacon for the girls came to just north of 35.00. I had a little sticker shock but I know food costs are up.
They serve Boyds coffe which is much better than Farmers brand.
Ada said the hot chocolate was good. An 8 out of 10.
Hattie says 10 out of 10.
I would go again.
Great presentation: would recommend pouring gravy on top of steak instead of having steak sitting on it.
Recommend getting orange juice with pulp.
Eggs weren’t soft or runny as I asked: recommend staying on top of requests.
Fair price. Love the environment, very family feel, everyone very polite and helpful.
Your off brand sriracha was great! Bold and flavorful.
As a coffee lover, would have loved the option of an espresso drink.
Food for the kids came out quick as a bunny, which was awesome! We got them fed and happy while we enjoyed our meal
The food was great, nice griddle made cakes, eggs, hash browns, and meats! The biscuits are heavy and savory!
Highly recommend this place, great breakfast location!
