Absolutely fantastic food! The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced—every dish tasted freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients.
Portions were generous, presentation was thoughtful, and everything arrived hot and on time.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff was happy to explain dishes and customize spice levels. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.

We visited Adda in Lombard and ordered the Chai, Pani Puri, and Malai Paratha. The restaurant has a beautiful setup with great vibes and decor — clearly a lot of effort was put into creating a warm and trendy atmosphere. It looks and feels like a place where you’d expect great food and service.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The Pani Puri was priced at eight dollars but came as a few chickpeas floating in water with light seasoning — something that felt rushed and lacked care. The Malai Paratha and Chai were okay, but not worth the price. When I asked about the dish, the worker responded by asking where I was from, then said, “Well, that’s because you’re from that country — in Pakistan, this is how we make it.” The comment came off dismissive and unhelpful. I’ve had plenty of Pakistani street food, and I’ve never seen something this low-effort or flavorless. It was disappointing to see a restaurant that looks so nice but puts so little heart into its food. The paratha seemed like it was ready made and malai looked like it was out of a can… I was kinda wondering if the have a kitchen in the back.. I kind of feel at this point I have put more effort into this review then they put into my food.
However, as I was writing this review, the chef himself came out and brought a new dish that was much more tasteful and well-made. He explained that it was from him personally and something he thought we would enjoy. That gesture showed genuine courtesy and a willingness to fix the low effect menu item, which I truly appreciated. It made a big difference and showed that the chef cared about the experience after all.

I went there with my family recently. The ambience is really nice and the place is really clean. The food was very tasty and we ended up eating more than we should lol, a lot of free parking outside was also available.
I would suggest to the owners to tell your staff to smile at the customers and be more friendly.

We went here for halwa puri and it was pretty good. I loved the halwa because it wasn’t too sweet. We also ordered veggie samosas and chicken puff. Samosas were tasty but chicken puff was just ok. Service was exceptional and the restaurant space is beautiful. We’ll definitely dine here again! A+++

Edit as of August 1st 2025: We visited multiple times since July 21st from when I first rated it 5 stars! Chicken boti roll, Bihari Kabab roll were served in burnt frozen parathas, bun Kabab was literally bun and Kabab, no sauce or no toppings, chai was burnt. This has happened on multiple occasions consistently, miss the good food they know they can do it but they are starting to cut corners considering we always spend upwards of $100 per visit
The food is great, our personal favorite is the Halwa Puri, Bun Kabab and Chicken Boti Roll
The chai is typical desi chai and not Karak or Yemeni for anyone looking for those chais
You have to get there early in the AM when they open if you want to avoid rush as it can become difficult to get a table
The prices are very affordable compared to surrounding restaurants and well worth it as well

Amazing food and very helpful staff. We ordered the samosa chaat which was amazing and our family members enjoyed the bun kabab, halwa puri plate and many other dishes. We will definitely be back.
