Everyone needs to go here!!! Not only is the food insanely good but the service is great! Ada is always there when I go and she’s the nicest person I’ve ever met.

If you’re looking for something different to try this is the place! Every item on the menu is some form of delicious that you’ll think about weekly! I wish this place was across the street from me

I saw Ada’s Gojjo on a viral tiktok video and knew it was going to be my birthday lunch spot on Oct 2nd. I love Ethiopian food and gladly drove over an hr from South Jersey because I just knew from Ada’s aura in that tiktok that the food would be a hit. I WAS RIGHT!!! My sister and mother came along with me and we all were in awe of everything (food, service and atmosphere). Ada is a top notch human, who is extremely welcoming, and attentive to her customers. We ordered 4 appetizers to start and every single one was amazing. We then got our entrees which consisted of Injera, 1 meat side and 2 veggie sides each. We couldn’t get over how great the food was. Everything was a 10. As I said, Ada is attentive to her customers, so she paid attention when we first walked in and I was so excited, telling her how I found the place and came as it was my bday. I mentioned this with no intention of getting anything, just pure excitement, but Ada came out with a piece of tres leches cake with a lit candle and wished me a happy birthday. The cake was devine. If you are thinking about visiting Ada’s Gojjo…..GOOOOOOO!!!! I will be back no doubt, because the hour+ drive is worth it.

This place is amazing!! It was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine and I was blown away. I had Ada’s Special Ye Siga Tibs and the dish was perfectly seasoned, had good portion sizes and was overall delicious. The interior was welcoming and intimate and the staff were attentive and kind! Will definitely be back for more!

Saturday at 2pm was completely quiet. Our server was nice but seemed new and really unsure of just about everything. We wanted to swap vegetables for yuka, but no substitutions were available. The food was fresh but wasn’t very seasoned IMO. Keep in mind this was my first time having Ethiopian food. We sat for a while and chatted until about 4:30…still no new customers. Maybe there were takeout orders. It’s a nice place but I don’t know that I’ll be back.

Saw a video through TikTok about this place and had to try it. 10/10 would try again! Everything was so flavorful and the service and atmosphere was top-notch. I got the Ada’s special and it was so tasty! If you haven’t tried Ethiopian food before I highly recommend this be your first pick.

Was attracted to this location due to the Ethiopian/Dominican fusion.
I went on a weekday at lunch time and the place was empty…. Not a soul in sight other than the young fella on his laptop at a table. When I asked how the restaurant came to be and that the fusion was intriguing…. He shrugged his shoulders and said he didn’t know any backstory of the restaurant. He seemed bothered and uninterested in his only client.
The restaurant itself is very bright with lots of windows and the decor is very nice. They seem to have an outdoor seating area but it was cold out and it wasn’t set up yet.
I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a mofongo.
I took the food to go and it was ready in 20 minutes.
When I finally got to open the food up at work I was a bit thrown off because it wasn’t what I expected. The sandwich was all bread and was just dry. The cheese was white American cheese and just gave a funky aftertaste. The mofongo was probably the most disappointing. It had absolutely not seasoning and just tasted like boiled plantain. They didn’t give any sauce or gravy to moisten the dish.
It was very disappointing considering I had laid $43 for the two dishes.
Maybe a weekend would be better.
I so very much wanted to like this place and will try it again and update.
