I love adding grilled jalapeños to my burrito they’re always perfectly cooked, and I can’t believe how affordable my meal is when I get them. The staff is friendly, the service is prompt, and the overall experience is excellent. Definitely a great spot for both taste and value!

Haven’t been to this location in probably 10 years. When I use to live in citrus heights. They are still as good as they use to be. The best chimichanga I’ve ever eaten and I’m fat! Been going to the one in rocklin the last 10 years and they really suck now so back to this one on greenback. They’ve never disappointed. The chimichanga was loaded with flavorful steak. Thank you

Adalbertos is my standard for authentic Mexican drive through restaurants! I ate there 3-5 times a week in my 20’s when I lived in the area. Open 24 hrs and everything is good, free chips and salsa bar inside, pickled jalapenos and carrots on request, what more could you ask for!?

This was the most bland food offered in town, I promise you. The “rolled tacos” I got should have been beef but I received chicken… and they had 0 flavor, tasted like a burnt corn tortilla. Did not know my order was wrong until I got home, 15 minutes away and it was midnight, so I did not go back. They were busy, but sending out some food with no flavor at all. Hope this helps the next person looking for a spicy late night dinner.

I just went to this Adalbertos for the last time. I’ve been a loyal customer eating here at least once a week, sometimes more. They made a mistake with my order and added onions which I can’t eat. When I tried to bring it to their attention the woman working the drive through just through her hands up and said “oh well,” okay, oh well.

Excellent Mexican food spot, in fact, it’s been one of our go-to locations for years and years and the quality has reminded the same. We love to stop on the way home for a veggie burrito and a taco, the perfect combo with a beer from the fridge.

Food is great, seriously, however they have the worst time understanding what you ask for. Ask for extra sauce, it is 50/50 they give it to you or not or just dump it on your order. Definitely good food but watch your orders, they get things wrong often.

I just got the skimpiest worst torta I have ever had. Literally one paper thin slice of dried out carne asada. Wish I could give 0 stars. I needed to look closely to notice it wasn’t just shredded lettuce on a bun.

This place is part of a local chain with great Mexican fast food for a great price. It also has free self-serve chips with six kinds of salsa. The combo plates are all huge & come with rice & refried beans for about $11. This location is a little older & more run down but the food is still excellent, and a very good value. Mexican breakfasts are served all day, too. I honestly don’t know how Taco Bell stays in business with Adalberto’s in town.

Too expensive for what you get. And what’s with places putting a tip jar at the drive thru? A tip is supposed to be for SERVICE that goes above and beyond, so I don’t see how placing my order in a bag and not giving me utensils, napkins or anything else UNLESS I ask for it deserves a tip, especially when just a couple tacos costs so much more today. Tip jars do not belong in fast food!
