I normally order take out a lot from here ever since my mom told me about this place . but I dined in for the first time and the customer service was phenomenal , The mango margarita was so good i had to order like 3 of them . I always order the chicken and rice with veggies , they give you a green sauce on the side and it is sooo good I even dipped my plantains in it lol . My brother ordered a seafood dish and he said it was so rich in flavor . The yuca was delicious it also it came with pickled red onions over it . * chefs kiss . My mom loved their cheese cake too . I will definitely dine again.

What a crappy experience at Acuario Restaurant. From start to finish, the food was truly awful.

We started with the shrimp cocktail, which came with tiny shrimp and plastic-wrapped soda crackers—like we were at a gas station. Classy.

The Mahi Mahi Parrilla I ordered arrived looking exhausted — and it tasted even worse. It was like they microwaved it straight from the freezer aisle, and threw some random oily asparagus spears on the plate for… decoration? Genuinely unclear.

The white rice was bland -not sure if the kitchen knows about salt. The yuca “fries” were terrible—clearly frozen chunks thrown into the fryer still clumped together. Absolutely no effort in preparation or presentation.

My partner ordered the Whole Red Snapper Fried, which was equally bad. One whole side of the fish was hollowed out, with barely any meat. Dry, overcooked, and sad looking. The plating was messy, with rice piled over the dishes. Just look at the pic!

Zero shucks given.

The drinks were allegedly passion fruit flavored, but honestly tasted like someone just gave up halfway and poured us orange juice instead.

There’s zero passion at this place. It wasn’t even crowded, all the staff were huddled at a table nearby. Overall, the food was lazy, flavorless, and clearly made without any pride or care. Save your money by not spending it here.

This place had a very yummy and delicious Peruvian food. My family enjoyed the lomo Saltado, jalea and pargo frito. The fish was in the perfect cooking point. Very recommended!! Also the barman was very knowledgeable and give us the best pisco sour drink with Queirolo Peruvian licor. So recommended too.
We will come back for more delicious Peruvian cousine.

When I first entered I was sketchy about the location. The waiter that welcomed me in seemed drunk. But a family member suggested the spot so I wanted to try. Took awhile to get a waitress but once she finally came I ordered. Lots of great choices to choose from the yuca fries were great. Omg the garlic sauce they have I don’t know whats in it but its amazing so flavorful. I ordered seafood with the yellow sauce. Great choice very flavorful and filling. I will be back

Love the food, hate the service. We have been ordering from here for over 4 years nearly once a week, they are always forgetting items or sending wrong items. The aji sauce is the best part and they are constantly forgetting to send it when we order a container, we live too far to do pick up so we have to live with the incorrect orders. Wish they would spend more time on attention to detail when bagging the orders, check off each item. Forgot our sauce again tonight…

The atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately the food lacked flavor. Our server didn’t seem to understand Spanish or English, which made communication very difficult. Because of that, our order was taken incorrectly and we received the wrong food. We didn’t have time to address the issue, so we just ate what was served.

It wasn’t the worst experience, but there is definitely room for improvement in both service and food quality.
