Delicious Aji …
There are several Peruvian restaurants in Stamford, but this one really surprised me.
Exceptional service and quality. Place is just awesome!!!! I’ll definitely go back
We started with the shrimp cocktail, which came with tiny shrimp and plastic-wrapped soda crackers—like we were at a gas station. Classy.
The Mahi Mahi Parrilla I ordered arrived looking exhausted — and it tasted even worse. It was like they microwaved it straight from the freezer aisle, and threw some random oily asparagus spears on the plate for… decoration? Genuinely unclear.
The white rice was bland -not sure if the kitchen knows about salt. The yuca “fries” were terrible—clearly frozen chunks thrown into the fryer still clumped together. Absolutely no effort in preparation or presentation.
My partner ordered the Whole Red Snapper Fried, which was equally bad. One whole side of the fish was hollowed out, with barely any meat. Dry, overcooked, and sad looking. The plating was messy, with rice piled over the dishes. Just look at the pic!
Zero shucks given.
The drinks were allegedly passion fruit flavored, but honestly tasted like someone just gave up halfway and poured us orange juice instead.
There’s zero passion at this place. It wasn’t even crowded, all the staff were huddled at a table nearby. Overall, the food was lazy, flavorless, and clearly made without any pride or care. Save your money by not spending it here.
The food was excelent and the drinks were good even though is about 1 hour away from Us it was worth it.
We will come back for more delicious Peruvian cousine.
It wasn’t the worst experience, but there is definitely room for improvement in both service and food quality.
