Stopped in for supper with my wife last night. Never been here before but everybody says the food is really well done. I had the chicken fried steak my wife chicken fried chicken she subbed fries for the vegetable which was fine but specified she also wanted the mashed potatoes.

Ticket time wasn’t horrible about 12-15 minutes, food was amazing for what was right. My wife didn’t receive her mashed potatoes which I didn’t realize, it wouldn’t have really mattered anyway as we were never checked on after receiving our food.

2 people behind the bar were more worried about the regulars that were there to do nothing but drink than customers who ordered food.

We were never told to come pay at the bar but did inform the waitress that it was our first time there. Would’ve been very helpful information to have.

We loved the food even if it wasn’t right, but we will never return after the service we received. I had really high hopes for this to be a place to come once or twice a month, filley is closer with better service, and I can honestly say Hallam is about the same distance with better service.

Overall I wasn’t impressed. If you just want great food and don’t care about service this would be a place to eat, but if you’d like to dine out and have an overall great experience I’d suggest going elsewhere personally.

Driving through and decided to stop for a bite. The BEST fried pickles and awesome staff. We had a great time talking to the regulars and kitchen manager, Alex. He was amazing and made sure we were treated exceptionally well!

Had the Phillysteak and cheese with the onion pedals. Food was delicious served hot and the size was big enough that it could have been shared. The onion petals came with a tasty ranch type dipping sauce, that was a nice touch.

Stopped in for lunch today. We ordered boneless wings, bone in wings and crinkle cut fries. The wings weren’t fresh and seemed like they were just warmed up in the microwave. Fries were soggy. We never got any silverware and the ranch that was ordered with our meal never came either. Waitress also never came back to check on us after getting the food. Neither of us finished our meals! Waste of money. Will never eat here again.

Great small town bar/restaurant! Excellent pizza and great beer. Loved the German beers available- the Weihenstephaner varieties were a nice surprise! The staff was welcoming and provided great conversation!

This place has decent food, even good depending on the items you get. It has a smaller menu with plenty of choices, which is always a good sign.

The main thing holding this place back is the service provided and the atmosphere created by this. It feels often like it is an Adam’s residents only place, as even if you are from the nearby area you get stared at by all the customers. You also get ignored by the waitstaff as they sit and talk with the other people.
It is not always like this, as there is a nice lady there who is very attentive and friendly, but we have only seen her once.

A couple odd things are the children being used to work the bar. I can’t really complain about how a kid throws down your food or silverware so casually when a kid shouldn’t be in such a position. Learning responsibility and helping out is one thing, but I’ve seen them in there every time.

Additionally, there is a rather crude joke above the restrooms about how women are on the left because men are always right. I feel like a misogynistic joke really does not create a welcoming environment to me and my friends (we are all women.)
It’s probably made very light-hearted and I can’t say it reflects on the owner, but it’s in poor taste regardless.

I’d recommend this place if your own local tavern is closed, because Across the Trax is open almost all week and later than most places.

Our family went to your resturant about 3 weeks. Two of us had prime rib. It had no seasoning on it. It was tough. Very bad taste of prime rib. Other one had the chickren fried steak. That was also tough couldn’t hardly cut it. All the side were cold. I ask for no sour cream on my bake potato. And got globe of it. We will never eat here again since the food was bad. Or tell our friend not to here thank you u had a kid sserving us and got every thing mixed up

Sorry, as a resident of Adams, I never really want to be too critical, but I have had enough. We ordered prime rib, a pork tenderloin sandwhich, and an order of pretzel bites. Got to the bar to pick up and wasn’t told until we got there that they were out of pork tenderloin. We selected something different and had to wait for it while out other food got cold.

We got home and opened everything up to serve and our pretzel bites were rattle snake bites. I called to let them know and Kelly was very good at getting it handled. We sent our son down there to pick up the correction and he was told that they were out of pretzel bites. So instead of calling me back the first time to let me know, the kitchen took it upon themselves to substitute.

This isn’t the first time we have had a bad experience. They need to do better. Being the only game in town doesnt give them the right to be lazy or careless. They should striving to be better.
