Been going since I was a kid and awesome chicken cheese steaks and my husband loves their pizza…. But cooks should realize when you fry with HOT oil you shouldn’t put it directly in a foam container still greasy hot. Even melted the dipping container. But they were GOOD! nice new item added to the menu.

Pizza is consistently delicious and salads are nicely portioned. This place is definitely guaranteed to have specialty toppings with decent prices. Delivery times are always amazing even during lunch and dinner rushes. Save your stomach, stay away from the “hot n ready”, spend the couple of extra bucks on quality food. This place does not disappoint.

Oh my Gosh, the pizza is bomb! the ratio of sauce to cheese is on point. So far I’ve had their pizza and wings and everything was amazing. Is the wing sauce homemade? because honestly I’ve never taste anything like it, very fresh. That being said, if you are looking for a place nearby the Lansdowne area this is it! My office recently moved me to the area and I have eaten lunch at Acropolis a number of times. As someone who has eaten (on average) a cheesesteak a week for over 25 years, I can honestly say their cheesesteaks are really good. Then I tried their chicken cheesesteak, which was one of the best I have had. Many just use pressed chicken slices, but Acropolis uses true cut-up chicken breast, which takes it to another level. And they use a fare amount of cheese, which ensures it’s no dry.
So… 2/2 great sandwiches, so I next tried the Italian sausage, meatball, and lets not forget the pizza. All exceptionally good. I started buying extras for co-workers, because something this good needs to be shared.
I was originally just looking for a place close by to get gas during my lunch break and stopped in… and I’m extremely happy I did. The staff are extremely friendly, huge local sports fans, and I highly recommend you check them out.

I was hoping for a good pizza after spending 30.00 dollars on it. Instead they let it in a lobby without notifying me of it’s delivery. I called and they assured me it was on the way. Then I get a call from the lobby of where I was working asking if anyone had had ordered a pizza. It was sitting down there for 40 minutes…It was cold and nasty. When I called to complain I was told that they had called me. They did not. My call log had no calls. Paid over the phone, they got their money. Guess that’s all that matters to them. Jerks!
