I absolutely love the way this place looks aesthetically. It has a very homey natural feel to it when you walk in. I will say the prices are quite expensive, which I was still willing to pay. I was recommended this place and was told to try the cheese straws, and I also bought some donuts, jalapeno dip, lemon bars, sea salt chocolate chip cookies, and a couple of the cobblers. The cheese straws were a huge disappointment with their lack of flavor, however the sea salt chocolate chip cookies were very good. I did not care for the lemon bars as I expected more zesty lemon tasting, but they were not terrible.

I’ve never heard of Acres and Oak but received cheese straws and pound cake in a gift basket for HoCo teacher of the year. It was delicious and reminded me of what my mom would make. It’s also cool that they support Houston County teachers. I will definitely check them out soon!

This place is extremely over priced and appears to have home cooked and good quality meals ready, HOWEVER do not be fooled! If you read the ingredients, its just processed, unhealthy ingredients that are not natural, do not waste your money, it doesn’t even taste good.

This place is the best. I stopped by to pick up some meals for my boss’ family because her mom is very ill. The gentleman at the counter was super helpful. The meals are reasonably priced and they look delicious. Great customer service and quality products. I will definitely be back for myself.

Fantastic! I stopped by on a whim and was not disappointed. I brought the Quiche Loraine to a family get-together and everyone loved it! They were only sad that we live 2+ hours away. When I’m driving by Perry, I will definitely make a detour to the Casserole Shop.
