We came for lunch, and overall I’d say the experience was mixed. The atmosphere was definitely pleasant the restaurant is in a nice spot, and the service was attentive and friendly, which made us feel welcome.

That said, the food itself was a letdown. The sandwich I ordered was very hard and difficult to eat, the fried zucchini was overly greasy, and the pasta was not what you’d expect from an Italian restaurant, especially in Venice. I was hoping for fresher flavors and better execution.

Looking at other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who felt this way some diners also mentioned inconsistency in the dishes and that certain plates didn’t live up to the price point.

We recently had our first dining experience at your restaurant. To be honest, we were initially hesitant due to some of the older reviews, but after noticing the recent positive feedback, we decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did!

The service and food were both excellent. Thomas, our server, was especially kind and attentive, which really made our experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming.

We did notice a strong, moldy smell inside the restaurant, which was a bit distracting. Other than that, everything else was fantastic, and we look forward to coming back again soon!

Very Disappointing for our 1st Experience and last one At Acqua Pazza restaurant.

We recently dined at this Italian restaurant and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
First, the Aperol Spritz cocktails were poorly made. They were mostly filled with ice cubes and had very little Aperol, so the drink tasted almost like water. Each spritz cost $11, and we were then charged $10 for an extra dose of Aperol, which makes absolutely no sense considering the original drink barely had any flavor.

For food, we ordered the Chicken Marsala, which supposedly came with figs, but the figs were not visible in the dish at all. The chicken itself had no flavor and was very bland.

Our waitress actually recommended for our 2nd dish the Beef Ragù instead of the shrimp in lemon cream, mentioning that the shrimp dish tends to have little flavor. The beef ragù was good, and that was probably the only highlight of the meal.

Dessert was also disappointing. The Pistachio tiramisu was not an authentic Italian recipe it tasted more like an Americanized version rather than a traditional Italian tiramisu.

When we received the check, we asked to speak with the manager to understand why we were charged for an extra dose of Aperol when the spritz itself had almost no flavor. Unfortunately, the manager showed poor customer service and simply argued with us instead of addressing the concern professionally.

The waitress was polite and provided excellent service, which we appreciated, but overall the experience was extremely disappointing.

We do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who truly knows authentic Italian cuisine, as very little of what we had tasted like real Italian cooking.

I went out to celebrate a birthday dinner and this place really pulled out all the stops. I cant have gluten, dairy, red meat, or alcohol due to GI issues. The waitress was able to suggest the Chicken Sorrento and modify it to meet my dietary restrictions. One of the better meals I’ve had out since diagnosed. They made artichokes taste so good and their potatoes were just perfect. I also had the Shirley Temple and it was sweet but very much worth it. I hope to come back at some point in the future.

We order 2 Aperol spritz. they have no taste at all, ask to have more Aperol and got charged for $10.00 for 1oz may be!!!!

The Chicken Marsala came with “figs” that were not even visible in the dish, and the chicken itself was completely bland. The Beef Ragù was good, but the waitress even warned us that the shrimp lemon cream dish usually has no flavor.

The tiramisu was not authentic Italian tiramisu, but more like an American tiramisu.

The waitress was polite and the service was good, but overall, this was a very disappointing restaurant. Not recommended for anyone who appreciates real Italian food.

I ask to speak to the Manager who came to our table and was not at all listening but arguing to every notification that we mention her. This person has no customer service at all.

We dined at Acqua pazza last evening with our guests who were visiting. We had a 6:30 reservation. We were told the wine that is on their wine list they no longer carry. We placed our appetizer and dinner orders only to find out they were sold out of the arancini for the night. Our Caesar salads then arrived, minimal dressing so they were dry and the portion only 1/2 filled the plate. Each of our guests ordered the lobster ravioli for their dinner entree only to be informed they only had enough to fulfill one order. When that arrived it was only warm at best. Aqua pazza is an embarrassment, save your money and go elsewhere. We will never be returning.

My husband and I dined here, but it’s not somewhere we will be coming back to or recommending.

We got seated fairly quickly and were served water. It was our first time so we didn’t know what to expect or how things went. After looking around we noticed other tables had focaccia bread while we weren’t offered any, so we asked our waiter for some while making our order. We asked for the Arancini and Ceaser Salad to be served together and then we wanted our Eggplant Parmigiana served after. The focaccia was barely warm and not very flavorful, and when our arancini arrived they were the same, lacking flavor and weren’t warm. Our Ceasar Salad was served more than 10 minutes after the arancini, even though we asked for them to be served together. We waited for the Eggplant Parmigiana for a while and in the meantime weren’t offered more focaccia bread and my husband who had drank his water, had an empty cup was not offered a refill, so he took sips for my water. When a different waiter finally brought the Eggplant, my husband asked for a refill. While taking away the dirty plates, the waiter tried to take the bread basket as well but only grabbed the napkin and spread bread crumbs all over our table, no apology was made or an attempt to clean the mess. My husband is a big foodie and eats almost everything but the 3 eggplant patties were burnt and had no flavor, he only had three bites and couldn’t eat more. The rigatoni that came with the eggplant parmigiana was very bland and we didn’t eat any of it and had our waiter take everything away. We were told by the waiter that she would try to take the charge for the eggplant parmigiana off the check but we still ended up paying for it. We were offered a dessert and tried the chocolate cake but only had a bite each before leaving, we didn’t want to spend anymore time at the restaurant.

Even though the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was fine, we were really disappointed with our experience and hope the restaurant can resolve the issues of poor food quality and customer service.

What a charming Italian restaurant in the heart of Wellen Park. We truly enjoyed our dinner. This restaurant is spacious and clean and the decor is modern chic. We started with drinks at the bar and then sat down for dinner. We loved their warm focaccia bread they serve at the table. My husband ordered the Short Rib Ragu with rigatoni and I had the Pasta Di Amore, both dishes were delicious and portion size are large. My server Simone was amazing and recommended I try the European hot chocolate drink – which was yummy! We really enjoyed it and would recommend this place!

Highly recommend this restaurant! Great entree recommendations and service from our server Tatiana. My husband ordered the lobster ravioli and I thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio crusted salmon. We shared the tomato salad & a scoop of chocolate gelato at the end. Everything was prepared and plated beautifully and tasted so good and I would return if in the area again.

(There is a parking lot directly behind the restaurant as well as street parking)

It was great until we tried the pasta…
Came twice: once for lunch and it was fantastic, and the second for dinner.
Tried almost all the appetizers and they are amazing. But once I tried the pasta… there was no way.
It is most likely home made indeed but sorry it is extremely starchy. Please review your pasta dough recipe. The rest is great.
Service was great! I remember Tyler for diner.
One other thing: they started cleaning 1hr before closing time so we got to enjoy the sound of the broom/mop hitting every table and chairs around us while finishing our main courses.
Also Pasta Vongole was basically a bathing in a bowel of salted sea water…
