Small, intimate setting nicely decorated. Pool outside is pretty but there is some construction going on (1/26) that obstructs what would otherwise be pretty views. Waitstaff is friendly. Was tempted by some of the fish dishes but will go back. Eggplant Parm was good but not great. Lasagna reported to be good as was Fettuccine Alfredo. Tartuffi was very good and cannoli as well. They put chocolate sauce and powdered sugar on the cannoli before serving.

We are in Hollywood for a couple nights and chose this restaurant based on reviews. We are so glad we did. We both had Veal Piccata and it was amazing. Tender, flavorful and a generous portion. Service was great. We will be back next time we are in town.

Acqua Bistro is a true hidden gem tucked inside a condominium complex in Hollywood, Florida. Family owned and proudly Mom & Pop operated, the restaurant delivers classic Italian-American cooking that feels deeply rooted in tradition and heart. From the moment the food arrived, I had a genuine ratatouille moment. The flavors instantly transported me back to childhood, reminding me of the old and new country dishes my grandmother used to make.
The Clams Oreganata were easily the best I’ve had anywhere in South Florida. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully baked, and full of depth. A standout was their secret off-menu Steak Pizzaiola: a moist, savory cut of ribeye bathed in a robust, peppery tomato sauce that complemented the steak without overpowering it. The Grilled Salmon Piccata was equally impressive, fresh, flaky, and cooked flawlessly, finished with a bright, lemony piccata sauce that elevated the dish.
Dessert sealed the experience. The tiramisu, cannoli, and Italian-style cheesecake tasted like they were made the right way, with care, balance, and love, each bite reminiscent of home. Between the comforting decor, warm service, generous portions, and fair value, Acqua Bistro delivers an authentic experience that feels rare today. It’s the kind of place you want to keep secret, but can’t help recommending.

What an incredible place! Aqua Bistro is honestly the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything feels so authentic and full of love at this family-run gem.
The food is unforgettable — the shrimp scampi was cooked to perfection, and the El Pescatore pasta was overflowing with the freshest seafood, every bite packed with flavor. And I can’t forget to mention the homemade bread… truly the best I’ve ever had! Warm, crusty on the outside and soft inside, it’s the kind of bread you keep reaching for even when you’re already full.
They also have a fantastic wine selection that pairs beautifully with the food, and it’s very reasonably priced, which makes the whole experience even better.
Between the amazing dishes, the cozy atmosphere, and the feeling that you’re being welcomed into someone’s home, this place is truly special. If you love pasta, seafood, and authentic Italian cooking, you’ll be in heaven here.

My boyfriend and I are from Canada and we saw this restaurant had great reviews so we decided to try it out. It did not disappoint! Our server was so friendly and attended to our every need. We had the appetizer that was Meatballs and cheese ( can’t remember the proper name) it was delicious. Then I ordered the chicken parmigiana with fettuccine Alfredo, and it was so tasty and mouth watering. Absolutely loved this place and I highly recommend coming here for authentic Italian food, that is made with care and prepped very diligently.

What a gem of a restaurant! Authentic, delicious Italian food made with real quality ingredients. Family-owned and operated, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and very fair prices. Highlights of our dinner were the clams oreganata, the lobster pasta, and my personal favorite, the veal piccata. Five stars all the way!

Great little Italian restaurant. Bread was yummy, warm abs soft. Salad was basic but fresh. Pescatori past was amazing and full of shrimp, calamari, mussels and clams. Service was excellent and they were super kind and attentive. I would definitely dine here again. Oh be aware there’s a $5 valet parking fee… not bad for a beach front restaurant.

I can tell you probably one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. It doesn’t look like much but the food is fantastic. Everything was great. I will definitely be back although I live 45 minutes away.

We discovered this small restaurant this year and we have been there eight times. We have invited family and friends to join us on each visit. The food is phenomenal and the service is great. Every meal we’ve had is delicious. We make reservations and our table is always ready for us.

I hope we’ve been unlucky, this place didn’t meet our expectations.
The outdoor seating is quiet and there’s a good amount of space between tables (opposite inside).
Menu is not stellar but it appeared to be solid. Problem is: several items were missing and our waiter didn’t know. Big red flag.
We got a complimentary soup or salad. Both looked sad.
Portions are small compared to the price.
Waited 45 min between courses. Too long.
Salmon was dry, pasta sauce boiling, steak ok.
It gives the impression everything is frozen.
