The food was great, our server Maria was OUTSTANDING. I really enjoyed everything about the dining experience. The restaurant was a little dark for me inside, but thats getting nit picky about it. Drinks were amazing. The downstairs bar is a neat place to grab a drink. I would highly recommend stopping in for dinner on your next visit to Annapolis

I don’t know if it was the great company, the scrumptious meal or the midcentury motif, but the mix made for an enchanting evening. Great place to bring out of town guests to highlight Annapolis the town and our unique establishments. This is a historic bank turned restaurant. It has the presence of a stodgy old bank, but is balanced by a casual air. I look forward to more cocktails and meals here!

Wow! Came without a reservation and the front of house staff were super kind and accommodating. Shared the pasta sampler and steak sampler. Our waiter made a great wine recommendation that paired with everything we ate. Service was some of the best i have ever had in my life! There was such care and attention, I felt like a guest over a patron. It’s price tag is more than reasonable for the food, service, and ambiance. I am so grateful for everyone who works here. This was the perfect venue for my wedding reception. It’s a short walk from the Courthouse and the historic building is beautiful. All food and service was excellent for my dinner guests. Their event coordinator is on-point and responsive. The food was cooked perfectly. Everything went smoothly, and that is important for a day with so many details to coordinate. Everyone please try the pasta melanzane, the blueberry filet mignon, the mushroom risotto, and the arancini. You will be delighted

The food is delicious, staff are great and ambience is great. HOWEVER , I came specifically for the pasta sampler and was told by our waiter the chef is refusing to do it anymore. The recipes are the same recipes as the restaurant in Florence so perhaps they should get a new chef that sticks to the same menu. The sampler pasta is the reason so many people go there! Make it work!

My octopus was like eating a superball but it did have a good flavor. The waiter was very good but a little over the top, it can get annoying. The atmosphere was very nice although the volume of the music made it a little hard to have conversations.

Acqua has the look and feel of being the latest installment by a restaurant group from DC, very of the moment and striving to impress. The food is consistently good, the service very attentive, the decor was not skimped on, the noise level loud. For Annapolis it is “fabulous”. Washington has plenty of first-class chefs and restaurants, this is not an example. Go and enjoy, just don’t think you’re in for a Michelin experience.

What a wonderful birthday dinner! So glad we got reservations for a great dinner. The salad combo is a good way to enjoy different ones. The fish of the day was delicious with vegetables prepared in a creative tasty way. The mushroom pasta was great although it was hard to decide.

Our party of six adults and one infant enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Acqua recently. The food is authentic Italian. The meatball appetizer (strozzapretti) is creamy and savory and melts in the mouth. Two in the group enjoyed the pasta tasting, which offered a variety of delicious flavors and seemed endless. The others raved about their main dishes. As the finale, it was fun to pass the assortment of desserts around the table for all to taste. We were especially impressed by our attentive, knowledgeable and friendly waitress, who is from Italy. The service was perfect. Considering we enjoyed a multi course meal with wine and beer, the total bill was reasonable. This is a popular new restaurant so make your reservations in advance!
