First visit ever and it was FABULOUS! GREAT service by the friendly wait staff. Cool vibe and Awesome food. We started with the Duck Wontons (5 wontons filled with cream cheese, Duck Bacon, flame-roasted sweet corn, red pepper, green onion, and basil) served with sweet chili sauce. Up next, ACME’s Famous Chili and the soup of the day, Chicken Noodle. We followed that with the main course of Porky Mac (Mac.& Cheese covered in pulled pork and lathered with their house-made BBQ sauce). OH, it was $1 Wing night so we opted to try some with the Pineapple and the Blueberry/Cherry BBQ sauces. DELICIOUS!!! What a feast to behold but the experience didn’t stop there. Although we were so full, we wanted to try their Banana flavored NY style Cheesecake, so we took it home with us and devoured it later that evening. What a wonderful ending to a gastronomic delight. Great job gang. We.have been living in Fort Wayne for 7 years now…What took us so long to get here? Not only will we be back soon but we will bring the whole family, maybe the entire neighborhood. IT WAS THAT GOOD!!! On the way out the door we saw this cute vintage tabletop juke box. BTW, they are closed on Tuesdays.

Food terrible! More fat on brisket sandwich than meat, more pineapples than beans in the pineapple baked beans. Toik the bartender/ waitress over 10 minutes to come blget drink orders and brung water, but was pleasant once she came, and had on a ” cute mom necklace”

Came in on a Friday night with a couple friends and the place had a nice, laid back vibe. It wasn’t too loud, which I appreciated since we actually wanted to talk. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries and it was pretty solid, juicy and cooked how I asked. The wings were decent too, good flavor but not crazy spicy. Service took a little while when it got busy, but our server kept checking in and was friendly the whole time. Prices felt fair for what you get. Overall, it’s a reliable neighborhood bar & grill and I’d go back again.

Great place…great food. A group of us from high school met here for lunch and have decided to make it a regular deal. Back in the 70’s I worked around the corner and ate here often. After closing for a while it has come back better than ever.
The folks here treated us like royalty. The prices were reasonable, the food delicious and the beer really really cold. I came up from Indy and I’m coming back….often!

Their crack chicken truly lives up to it’s name. Smoky, tender, and juicy! The mac and cheese is to die for. This food was so good, I had to write this review before leaving the restaurant. I will definitely be back!!!

If GLUTEN-FREE beware.
I previously loved this place. I live in the neighborhood. I used to go there for the gluten-free pizza but after tonight I will never go back and I advise anyone with a food allergy to do the same.
After waiting for awhile, they presented with me a non-gluten free pizza but the server had claimed it to be gluten-free. Even saying when handing it to me “gluten-free pizza”. After I ate a few pieces, another server came and said there was a mistake and had mentioned that the manager (or owner it was unclear) said that I should have known by the pizza size.
They did apologize but did not comp me until asked. I asked to speak to the manager. He did not come out. I had to find him. He was in the back grabbing a soda from the fountain for himself and then was heading back into his office.
When I discussed it with him he was very unapologetic and tried to say that I should have known by the pizza size that it was not Gluten-free. When I told him that he had given me food poisoning as I am gluten intolerant and that, had I been celiac, he could have sent me to the hospital he started to be less combative but still was not willing to accept any responsibility.
When I said “you served me food that made me sick” his response was: “I didn’t serve it to you.”
Plain and simple: the manager (or owner again, it was unclear) that I spoke to does not care.
This beloved institution of Fort Wayne has lost my trust and my patronage. As a resident of this neighborhood, this pains me, but I can no longer eat at a place that does not care about its customers enough to make sure they do not poison them.
Nor can I stomach a place that has a manager that would not show the most basic of human decency and just apologize and comp the pizza (outright without any request, as it was comped after I had to request it) and not throw his wait staff under the bus.
Please ACME, I know you can do better. I need you to do better. Fort Wayne needs its good old hang spots, you used to be one of them, used to be.

Loved the timchi and the jalapeño cornbread! The best part, though, was Miss Carol’s legendary service. She is amazing! We felt very welcome here. Can’t wait to come back.

Came for the first time at lunch on a weekday. Business was slow, but our service was fast, food was delicious, and our server Stephanie was great. My breaded tenderloin sandwich was huge and crispy and seasoned just right, and my wife loved her beef brisket mac & cheese. Zero complaints! We’ll be back soon!

The restaurant exudes a pleasant holiday vibe. The pizza and BBQ are both enjoyable, with the wings boasting a distinct hickory wood flavor. Overall, the food is satisfying with no complaints. However, the garlic-heavy ranch wasn’t to my liking. Additionally, while the taco meat is good, the hard tortilla could be improved, perhaps by using corn flour tortillas.
