Went here while traveling through the area after a very trying death in the family. We were looking for a place to get a drink. We are told that there were two places in town but this is the only one open. Walked in to a smoked fill room where everyone was smoking. I thought there was a federal law stating that smoking had to be outside nor inside. We sat down and there was no food available. So we ordered two drinks. We were charged $26 for two drinks. Even the local who was very nice sitting next to us said”what, that’s not right”. We were astonished, but then again they were taking advantage of non-locals. We could have bought the whole bottle of Tito’s vodka for that price. Needless to say no tip was left and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. if you are not a local DON’T GO HERE. they are breaking a law regarding smoking and the atmosphere was horrible! The EPA will be contacted. A MISERABLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Let me start by saying the owner is great! I’ve had nothing short of a positive experience with her. But some of the staff need improvement. We stopped in just before 12a with over 20 people in the bar already and 7 people in our group and were turned away saying they were closing early to go to Joe’s place… On the day before the 4th of July no less! We declined the tenders offer to take beers to go and left as more people were walking up. I feel this is bad business practice and it’s not the first time it’s been closed early lately but their excuse this time was that they were slow.

Went there with buddy to play in a pool tourn for my 1st time. Cool place, dont really know what i expected, but i was impressed. Had lots of fun, good group of folks. Matt was a hoot, Johnny B too. Kim was funny as hell! Will deffenently go back. Thanks guys for allowing me to feel welcome.

I’ve been going to Ace’s since I was old enough. The music played by patrons ranges from country and rock to hip hop and pop. There’s daily drink specials, like Margarita Mondays and Fireball Fridays. Pool tournaments are common. And the bartenders and owner are sociable.

Travelled from New Braunfels Texas to Perry Oklahoma to get a truck bed installed on a friend’s pickup truck stayed the night in Perry Oklahoma upon exploring what the town had to offer we stumbled across this awesome bar, tended by Kim whom upon arrival made us feel like we were locals very professional friendly I gave her money to play music for us and all in the place on point selection of music both the poeple at the bar and Kim made it easy to have a great time even when we were complete percent new to the area and bar and we felt like we were home.If ever in the area of Perry Oklahoma do yourself a solid and go by and say hello to Kim she’s awesome

I called and asked if they had food and told them we had a party of 5 adults and 3 kids. She said ok and told me what they had for food. We showed up and she met me at the door and said the kids were not allowed! That is why I called before we went there! Very disappointed that they couldn’t tell me that over the phone before wasting my gas and my sons gas!
