Could have been good price , but because they shrunk the portions so much, now the food becomes expensive.
They made their portions so small, and tiny( i guess these portions are for Mexican people who are on very strict diets who should not eat regular size portions) or for little size Mexican people.
or the owners are so greedy, and miser. There are lots of food around why they have to charge so much, and serve very little food
All other Mexican restaurants like Aliberto Jr. Give huge portions.
I dont know any Mexican person that eat little tiny portion and say I am full.

Really clean location.For a local chain, the chicken and carne asada torta is my go to. It’s packed with flavor and there is a nice balance with the guacamole, protein and vegetables. Compared to chucki’s, Carmelo’s and Riconcito to name a few this torta appeared skimpy with meat. The salsas are also very watery. It’s still a go to on a Friday/Sat night and it reminds. Prices are good and the service is amazing. Josh the lead supervisor was outstanding.

I come here in frequently but thought that it was an option to Taco Time south of here on Lake City Way. Best decision of my life literally except divorcing my ex-wife. Great takeout and I’m thrilled that I gave it another shot. Last time, it was not or did not meet my expectations. This time, awesome. Tacos crispy beans rice hot salsa amazing. Try this, I feel it’s worth it.

I love this place, I come here almost once a week through the drive through. I order one of the burritos without the meat. It’s always very hot. The employees do put effort into always having friendly service. The drive through is usually very fast too. It’s not cheap but nothing is these days. The inside of the restaurant is also very clean.

We visit Aceituno’s regularly, and they have become a reliable neighborhood institution in their time on Lake City Way. If you are in a crazy hurry, this might not be the right spot, because they do make your food after you order it. They have a drive thru but it’s not a typical fast food place. To me, that’s not a bad thing, though. The staff there is always so polite, and professional, and gracious. The food is very consistent, and it’s become my favorite place to get a burrito in the area. My husband loves the carnitas and adobada, and I love their mulitas. Also their refried beans are amazing. We’ve never had a bad experience there, and we’ve been there dozens of times. We hope they are our LCW neighbors for years to come. Be blessed Aceituno’s! We appreciate you.

4/30/2024 Update: it’s been a few weeks since trying here and the food is still great! I’ve tried Tacos, mulitas, quesadillas, and the bowls…all are solid .
I was nervous to try food from here due to the mixed reviews. Welp I pulled the trigger and ordered the carne asada quesadilla…it was yummy. I definitely will be back for another quesadilla for sure.

Went with my daughter for “brunch”..for us anyway..I got a steak fajita burrito and 3 chicken rolled tacos..she got 3 carnita tacos and also the 3 rolled chicken tacos along with a side of rice and a mango jaritos..everything was really good and fresh..super filling..glad it close to home for me!
