Absolutely terrible!! Just don’t, there are much better places within the vicinity and this wasn’t my first choice – issues with DoorDash and then UberEats. I ordered via UberEats (terrible experience as well – took nearly three hours, food cold, support is horrible), I’d expect better packaging and most importantly from the restaurant, actual carne asada! It takes a real genius to screw that up – and – it looks like they mixed it with ground beef! Salsa is terrible too, likely ordered it from a store and repackaged it lol.

i ordered two burritos.
california burrito with extra guac (that i paid for)
they removed the guac completely.
steak burrito with no beans
they added beans anyway.
the steak in both was awful. mushy, zero char, weird texture. honestly the worst burrito meat i’ve had.
the tickets were right. they just ignored them.
waste of money. never coming back.

The breakfast burritos are good but I don’t love that they use fries as their potatoes. We also add onions and cilantro to the burritos. We ordered veggie burritos and added chicken since we prefer veggies with the meat. It was good but they were a bit cold. The chips & salsa were very good the salsa is spicier than most. We enjoy the salsa bar. The green salsas and the onions & carrots are delicious.

The food is decent, it’s not amazing. They seem to intentionally get your order wrong and never give green sauce even when they repeat it back, unless you confront them about it. I’m not kidding.
Most frustrating, they never get your order right. They’ll never give you green sauce. When you ask for it, they’ll say sure and repeat it back to you. Then you check your order and they didn’t include any. It’s like they knowingly say sure no problem and then throw your order away.
I asked if they serve the steak and egg burrito at night (their sign says ALL DAY for this specific item but I’m giving them the opportunity to tell me no). They said yes they serve it and I said I’ll take it. They give me a freaking steak burrito no eggs.
If you don’t want to service the one and only all day offered breakfast item, tell me no then. I’ll just ask for a California burrito. But a burrito with no eggs and no potatoes is criminal.

I was excited for more authentic Tex-Mex in place of Taco Bell and the like. I’ve been here more than a few times, and it had been great. But the last couple of times I’ve gone, my cheese enchilada is just unmelted cheese in a tortilla swimming in way too much enchilada sauce.
The first time it happened, I asked about it, and they said they didn’t have the oven working or something and so they weren’t able to melt the cheese. They swapped my order (I was dining in) to something else, and it was good.
This time, I asked at the drive-thru speaker to verify everything was in working order and that the cheese would be melted in my cheese enchilada. They assured me it would be. I get my food and we go to the park to sit and eat. The cheese on top of my beans was melted just fine. The cheese in my cheese enchilada? Still not melted, but only softened and warmed. And the tortilla was sort of folded over like a soft taco, but not even completely folded over. It took me a second to realize the other half 5 open and flat in yhr dish. There was an insane amount of enchilada sauce. One slight tilt of the container, and it would’ve spilled out everywhere.
The photos are after I had eaten it a bit and pulled back the tortilla to check inside. You could see each grated “string” of the cheese used for the enchiladas, and it wasn’t even close to being melted.
All the little bits that kind of look like little worms and larvae swimming the sauce and inside the tortilla 6 unmelted cheese.

This place has always been consistently good. Love their Salsa bar. Just tried the Chili cheese tamales. Very good! Another highlight is how clean it’s kept.

Everyone was nice, but the food was just ok. I got the lengua burrito. It was full of beans with some rice and not too much lengua. The flavor wasn’t that bad it was just drowned in beans. So, 3 stars for the food. The salsa bar was cool.

Gristle in the California Burrito – $23 for 2 California burritos and they had 3 large pieces of gristle in them. We had been wanting to try this place for a while. Won’t be going back.
