I ALWAYS get their hallmark cocktail that echoes the present Chinese zodiac animal but they were out of The Year of the Snake but no matter, like the food menu the choice of cocktails is the best ever! I know good cocktails, I’ve had many hundreds of different kinds, probably over a thousand different ones but the 4 I had last night are well above average and don’t rely on simple but rather a good, well thought out meld of ingredients.
Service is as great as ever.
Asian fusion is a very competitive niche and Ace has always and still does have the ability to serve match point against the toughest competition and win.
The food was okay, needed salt. The presentation was great.
The service was decent. They checked in, but not too much. However, I was given a check by one person, and as I was preparing to pay, the original server returned with a different (and more expensive) check. By that point, we were being rushed out and I was ready to go.
The atmosphere was the interesting part. We were approached several times by neighboring tables asking to use our ping pong table. If you’re familiar with Aces, you pay for your time at those tables.
The check was my final straw, though. She looked at that check before putting down the new one while I had my card in my hand. Seemed kinda shitty.
$200+ for 4 people.
Priestly was awesome as our server. We started off in the dining room and quickly made our way to the outdoor patio where we played and ate next to the fire pit. Priestly was very attentive; was there when we needed her and wasn’t when we didn’t. Thanks for making our first time at Ace Eat Serve a good experience.
