So I got the pork carnitas quassidlla. It came with 3 tortillas i asked for corn tortillas but got flour. The plate was hot it burnt me but the waitress did warn me. The waitress never came back to ask how the food was but it was very salty and gave me a horrible stomach ache. My buddy had a taco salad he said at first it was good but then it got soggy and gross. I will not be eating here again.

Wonderful atmosphere and service! I came here for lunch with my mom and at first we were considering ordering takeout, but once we got inside we decided to dine in because the dining area was so spacious. They seated us right away and did a great job at spacing everyone out. Since we were holding a takeout menu, they didn’t offer us regular menus which was fine. They also had QR codes at every table so we could access the menu digitally if we didn’t want to touch anything. Aside from the chips and salsa they gave us, I ordered the street tacos and my mom ordered the bacon shrimp tacos. They were both delicious and came with rice and beans. The service also completed this experience. Our server was extremely kind and patient. She gave us some recommendations since it was our first time there, but what really impressed me was how she lifted those heavy plates like they were made of paper. I’ll definitely come back and try something else off the menu!

It’s always so nice to have great food. My bf was taking me to places to explore and he took me here. The first time we came here we got the fiesta platter. Perfect for little appetites and just wants a taste of everything. The second time weve been here the Queso was so nice and I crave it now when I want chips. Drinks are always so good I always go for a fruity margarita and the most bomb is the buffalo wings. It’s the best wings I’ve ever had in my life! I promise!! It’s warm juicy crispy and yummy flavor. It’s not greasy at all. Service was so good. They’re very quick with service and they’re so nice. A really great place to have some very good food.

I got the cheese enchiladas and they came out way overcooked and were very dry. It was around lunch time on a Friday and not busy so I shouldn’t get food that is awful. I also got the queso and it had way too many jalapeños in it.

Let me start by saying I’m from El Paso, Texas. I ordered the Tijuana, and my companion ordered the El Paso. When my companion tells me he doesn’t like it, then I know there’s no hope for me. Here’s what I liked. The beans and rice were pretty good. I was surprised by the rice since most establishments don’t know how to make it right. I liked the enchilada once I scraped off the yellow cheese. Please stop with yellow one. Your cheese enchilada was good once I got rid of that atrocity. Yall should really ask if we want “gravy” on the tamal because I didn’t grow up with Central Texas grossness. West Texas doesn’t eat the tamal as such, it eats them plain. Once I scraped that gravy off I could really tell a good tamal. If I had known those were to come that way I would’ve asked for them off and changed the cheese. Yall have potential. However, definitely rethink that “salsa” it tasted like watery Pico de Gallo and not in a good way.

After living in CA for 17 years, AND being a food critic there where I was PAID to find, eat and criticize, I think I have become adept at ferreting out the best of the best.
For Mexican food, owner Reuben has achieved that big time. For one thing, he is one of the FEW Mexican restaurants that does NOT use the dreaded Canola–really really bad oil. He knows this and actually will consider our favorite–Sustain–for the future. But for now it’s a more acceptable oil than Round-up- and hexane-laden industrial seed Canola.
We ordered the chicken mole and a cheesy pork quesadilla, and a chimichanga and and pork enchilada (two different occasions). and all were delicious. The mole is refined and incorporated into the enchilada, not just poured atop, which makes it rich and dreamy. The quesadilla was meaty and cheesy, and served with both sour cream and guac. Yum. Loved the chimichanga, again with guac and sour cream. the pork enchilada was brimming full with delicious shredded pork and a lot of cheesy goodness. And, of course, their margaritas are stellar (more affordable than at some area places), and there are always the complimentary chips and salsa appetizers.
Thanks Rueben, for running the best Mexican eatery in the area, and surviving the huge challenges of the last few years. We’re so glad you’re still there to be our go to for Mexican food, every bit as good as our CA experiences.

Don’t let the location fool you! This place is amazing! Authentic Mexican is an understatement! Guacamole is fantastic and the fish tacos are superb! Street tacos are savory yet sweet and a close second to the fish tacos. Margaritas are strong and flavorful. One it my favorite place to eat.
