The manager was amazing! With him out front and his family in the kitchen, this place is top notch! The pork burrito, rice, and guac were amazing! The homemade salsa was even better!! Don’t bother going here. Although the people working were kind, the food was bad. Seafood and Acapulco burritos smelled like tunafish – not halibut. I asked the waiter to see about my order because it smelled, he said “it’s fish”. No offer to get us edible food. $50 down the drain! Cilantro quesadilla had raunchy cilantro. One highlight was the chicken tortilla soup.

Awesome Enchilladas con Verde. Super fresh ingredients, friendly and attentive staff, fun ambience, awesome Mountain View’s towards Kenai off the back porch. Food didn’t leave oneself feeling heavy or bloated because everything was so fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant Alaska has some fantastic Mexican cuisine!!! A+

Best restaurant in Soldotna, hands down. Legit Mexican food and a homade salsa bar as well. Never too busy, most likely because it’s easy to drive right by. Skip the brewery nonsense and go here for Micheladas and a chill time.

Ran upon Acapulco’s while in Kenai and wow what a menu and an even greater tasting food! Had the #SeafoodQuesadilla and man it was fantastic! Unfortunately I had to leave a bite. The meal would have easily fed 2 but my eyes were a little bigger than my stomach but definitely worth your time and money! Owner/cook and his staff were all super friendly and welcoming! Don go driving around looking for any other Mexican if you want to be assured the best in the area! Thank you Acapulco’s..

Three of us had lunch there. My first time, my measure of a good Mexican Restaurant is the quality of the Menudo if available. If Menudo is not, then Chile Verde. They had the soup, it was served in a large bowl with the lime, onion, and cilantro on a separate dish. The soup was excellent, all the components were there. The flavor was as I expected. The complimentary chips/salsa was good, enough heat to say pepper is present, but light enough to not put off a novice.
