Really nice place with friendly staff. Chips and queso were great. Funny story, I accidentally got the wrong plate which was the chipotle grilled chicken with broccoli. But was corrected right away and got the Yucatan grilled chicken that I ordered. But the chipotle grilled chicken looked much better lol so I know what I’m getting next time.

I was totally surprised that Xperience point are not used here. I asked about the Happy Hour drinks was told line drinks are included but tequila and hold the water, was not included, why? Large portions and very tasty. Good service.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with the team at Acapulco tonight deserves all the praise. This review isn’t just about the food (though that was fantastic), it’s about kindness and absolutely exceptional service.
I placed a pickup order for dinner, and in a truly clumsy move on my part, I managed to drop the entire bag of food immediately after walking out the door. The contents spilled everywhere—a total loss, and entirely my fault.
Feeling defeated, I called the restaurant to explain the situation, prepared to place a new, paid order. What happened next was unbelievable: the team member who answered the phone was immediately empathetic and told me they would remake the entire meal at absolutely no extra charge. I was stunned. This gesture was truly above and beyond any customer service I have ever encountered. They were incredibly accommodating and treated it like it was no issue at all.
I went back to pick up the fresh order, and finally got to enjoy the meal. And it was worth the wait!
To the entire team at Acapulco: thank you. You turned what should have been a frustrating, expensive mistake into a reason to celebrate your outstanding dedication to your customers. You have earned a loyal fan for life!

We tried Acapulco Mexican Restaurant in Woodbury on 12/20/25. The food and service was amazing. Great Mexican recipes and flavor. My ribeye was grilled to perfection. My daughter raved about the mole. Portions were huge and the prices even better. We definitely will be back.

Food was good. Waited 1 hour for food. Watched 2 other pairs of people get their food despite ordering before them. Asked for a booth because 4 were available. We arrived at 5P, so it wasn’t that busy when we ordered our food. Maybe the kitchen is having employee issues. ✊

I really do not enjoy leaving less than favorable reviews. A bit of a mixed review with some of the 5 of us liking certain things while others didn’t. That said, Mexican food holds a special place in my heart so I hold my Mexican food to very high standard. My wife’s dish was the better of the two but she actually is Mexican and couldn’t eat them. My son DID like them and ended up eating them because he didn’t care for what he ordered which was the enchilada. He called it a big blob. I tried the meat from the tacos… I thought the flavor was good and the meat was tender but left my mouth dry. My dish (pictured) was a bit of a wet mess. I thought it tasted more like a slightly over salted tuna casserole than a Mexican dish.
Service was decent. The only thing I would say is that the waitress should have noticed that both my son and I hardly touched our plates and when she asked if we wanted a box we told her no… that was a red flag but we don’t like to complain so we paid full price and still left over 20% for a tip. Typically if the waitress DOES catch this and the food gets comped, I will give the waitress that money as well as additional tip so it was her loss.

I have never before left a review about the terrible service and food at a restaurant but my experience tonight blew my mind in a terrible way. My friend and I were at the Woodbury location and had a woman waitress. We ordered our drinks and some cheese dip that came out luke warm and clumpy. Okay, it still tasted okay but I didn’t say anything to the waitress. She took our order and a long time later the food was delivered by someone else. My friend got her food and they didn’t bring out the tortillas to go with her Carne Asada until about 10 minutes later. That didn’t really matter because the food came out looking like it was sitting under a heat lamp for 20 minutes but was still cold. The waitress never came back and when she finally did and we were ready to leave, she asked me how everything was, my plate was still full while it was sitting in front of me, and when I told her it was terrible, she laughed at me. I could not believe that reaction – she didn’t apologize or offer to bring both of us new food because neither of us ate our meal. The nerve of her to laugh at my response was completely unacceptable. Not only was the food bad and cold but the service was insulting. She charged me for the full meal even though it was inedible and handed me the payment device twice because I picked no tip the first time so I picked no tip the second time. I have never in my life had a worse server and I have worked many years in the hospitality industry including being a server. I could not believe that I was laughed at when I said the food was terrible with a full plate in front of me. My friend and I will not be back to your restaurant due to the service and the inedible food that was served to us tonight. I cannot believe I was made to pay for the cold food that was inedible

We ate outside in their fabulous seating area. They have amazing food & have lots of vegetarian options & don’t skimp on the veggies when you order. The tacos are great. They start you with chips & salsa. Yum!

Not only did my server come only a single time to my table which was to take our order I got the birria tacos as a seasonal special which were disgusting aswell as cold the soup or sauce it came with was like beef gravy absolutely disgusting. The burrito was cold and the cheese dip never even got heated up. This was pathetic it’s taking every bone in my body not to just walk out. I just wanted a single refill tried again btw on 4/22/2025 no wonder why this place is empty my burrito was freezing and my water still hasn’t gotten refilled debating just walking out
