Friendly staff. Great food. I love the cheese dip—it’s addicting! Free chips and salsa. I always get the pick three and have leftovers.

Queso is the best part. Partially my fault for trying something new? I ordered the Chilaquiles. A ‘casserole’ that has chips in it. Was not the greatest. Nachos were piled high, but shorted on sour cream and guacamole. Prefer fresh jalapenos to pickled as well.

I really do not enjoy leaving less than favorable reviews. A bit of a mixed review with some of the 5 of us liking certain things while others didn’t. That said, Mexican food holds a special place in my heart so I hold my Mexican food to very high standard. My wife’s dish was the better of the two but she actually is Mexican and couldn’t eat them. My son DID like them and ended up eating them because he didn’t care for what he ordered which was the enchilada. He called it a big blob. I tried the meat from the tacos… I thought the flavor was good and the meat was tender but left my mouth dry. My dish (pictured) was a bit of a wet mess. I thought it tasted more like a slightly over salted tuna casserole than a Mexican dish.

We ate outside in their fabulous seating area. They have amazing food & have lots of vegetarian options & don’t skimp on the veggies when you order. The tacos are great. They start you with chips & salsa. Yum!

We always enjoy our times at Acapulco. The staff is awesome. Jeison takes good care of us at the bar, Josh is an excellent server and Cole makes me delicious micheladas! We often share the steak/chicken fajitas delivered sizzling to the table by Josh!

Food wasn’t good… just the chips and salsa were the good part of the whole ordeal. Don’t plan on coming back. No one I was with seemed to be satisfied with the food they had.

Been to this restaurant a few times now and the food is very good. This time I came in with a big group and our server Quentin did a really great job tending to our group even though the restaurant was very busy. It was a great dinner because of that.

I have been to Acapulco in Woodbury multiple times and used them for numerous catering events but after my past two visits I am very hesitant to go back. I would like to share my VERY disappointing experience from today at Acapulco that took place. I placed my order over the phone at 4:20 and they told me that it would be ready at 5:15. I arrived to the restaurant around 5:25 and there was one lady in front of me waiting as well. Serves kept passing by ignoring us in the front for about a good 5 minutes before anyone greeted me. Then when I was finally able to provided my name for the order I was greeted with a very confused look. After about 10 more minutes a server approached me and told me that my order had never been entered and that there was only 1 cook currently working so it would be a little bit longer but they would move it to the front. It was now 5:45 a good 30 minutes later than my order promise time of 5:15. At this point I requested to speak to the manger as I was very frustrated my order which was suppose to be ready at 5:15 still had not been started and I had my dog in the car so I should not be waiting this long leaving him unattended. The manager Andres was great and WENT BACK TO THE KITCHEN AND COOKED MY ORDER HIMSELF and made right of the situation. He seems like a great guy and manager but I feel terrible that he seems to be put in stressful situations quite frequently due to ownership not staffing the kitchen properly.

I don’t think I haven’t ever not tipped before but the service tonight was terrible. We didn’t get refills on our drinks or chips. We had to ask for our cheese dip, and we had recieved our entree beforehand. We ordered to go food and my friend had to ask where her chips and queso order was. It looked like there was one waiter for the service. I didn’t see a manager. The bar staff were closing up shop while we were there and the dining area was completely closed. We had to ask for our check which drives me nuts and then when our waiter came over he had to go back and break up the checks. We kind of felt like leaving since we had asked for our check and then waited another 15 minutes before we even got it. This is a weekday evening. There were maybe 2 tables on the patio and like 4 tables in the bar. Get it together, Acapulcos. My friend makes it a point to go here when she visits from out of state.

This has become our GO To Mexican Restaurant in the St Paul area. The food is excellent and authentic. Service is spotty, but acceptable. We have had rude treatment at Los O’Campos, and a couple of other supposed Mexican places, but really like Acapulco. I Highly recommend. We go there for Lunch regularly.
