Great atmosphere and great service. Would return
I’ve been wanting to try here, it keeps popping up on the Too Good To Go app and has great ratings, just not in the area a ton. Tonight it worked out.
The food is absolutely delicious!
Restaurant is also clean and staff is nice! Love the outdoor area for better weather. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The Acapulco has a salsa bar so you can try different salsa’s (they are not labeled so if you don’t like spice beware!) to compliment your free chips.
The decorations are such fun! I love the detail work on all the booths and chairs.
Plates were huge but the food was a good size portion (plenty of room to stir). We all ordered something different but I am IN LOVE with their garlic shrimp! Super garlicky and delicious!
It’s very casual.
I had the enchiladas verdes shown in the picture, with mango mojito.
Both times, our table felt ignored, with servers seeming more focused on socializing at the bar than taking care of diners. Items we ordered were forgotten, including queso and sour cream that didn’t arrive until after our meal because they were never put on the ticket. Drink refills were slow, and even basic things like salt and pepper weren’t on the table.
The restaurant was also uncomfortably cold — cold enough that servers were wearing winter hats.
As for the food, the chicken enchiladas were moist but still overcooked, and the rice was dry and tasted like it wasn’t fresh. Not terrible, but definitely not up to the standard we’ve experienced here before.
We wanted to enjoy this place again, but after two poor visits in a row, it’s hard to justify coming back unless things improve.
