Place is clean but customer service is terrible. Came here the first time and spend over $40 which is actually extremely expensive for 2 bowls but I didn’t stress it, at least the bowls were full. My second time coming would be now and they basically gave me 1 scoop of mango. When I went inside to inquire about it they literally pulled out bowls and wanted me to deconstruct my bowl to somehow count how many scoops they gave. They even took it as far as putting 1 scoop into a bowl and saying “this is what 1 scoop looks like” THEN they took that scoop and put it back into the freezer, VERY unsanitary thing to do and really just rude. You can see in the photo that they barely gave me any mango. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here, for the money spent, service should be 100 times better and portions like this are unacceptable. I spent $26 today (due to me having a $5 discount) and I got shit. It’s mainly fruit and granola. Go to the other 2 açaí places in nearby or to planet smoothie at least you’ll receive a full bowl, and better more sanitary customer service. I really should be getting my money back for these bowls. Also please note that her first response to me was “the girl who made your bowls left already, I’m not the one that made them” … not sure what that had to do with anything.

I visited Acai Express tonight and was thoroughly impressed! I tried the White Dragon Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious—one of the best I’ve had. I’ve been to many açaí spots, but this one truly stands out for its quality and flavor. The two ladies working there tonight were friendly and provided excellent service, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve been a big fan of açaí express since I lived in Puerto Rico so was very excited when they opened a new location right here in Davenport. I even got the large size because I know how great they are but what a disappointment I don’t know if I had a bad batch or what but I couldn’t help but taste as if there was a rotten fruit in the mix. I had to throw it out because the taste was so overpowering. I thought a new location everything would be so fresh but my bowl was not it. Would still be down to try again maybe some other time and think it was a bad batch but definitely very disappointing for my first visit at the new location

The girl with the glasses, the girl with curly hair. Horrible service, heavily rude, unprofessional. Talked about other customers in front of us and very sarcastic. Made many orders charging 20 dollars and more just to do their order wrong. Please stop hiring these young rude girls when will you learn.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. The two girls working were extremely unprofessional — they didn’t greet us, barely responded to questions, and gave rude looks the entire time. The overall attitude made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Customer service like this completely ruins the experience, and I won’t be coming back. Hopefully management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements, because no one deserves to be treated that way.

We paid $23 for two bowls, and the quality was not what we expected. Açaí base wasn’t freshly blended, it was frozen and scooped out more like Tropical Smoothie quality. There was also a black hair on the bananas in my bowl.

Delish as always. First time in the Davenport location – I have only been to the cocoa one. I went for years and the Davenport location did not disappoint. The girls could be a little more welcoming but overall a very good experience. The food was great !

So the bowl looks nice. So does the ice cream. But the cotton candy ice cream is not cotton candy it’s vanilla dyed heavy in blue. And the Acai in the bowl is VERY DRY. And the pistachio cream has no flavor.
The young ladies there are nice and had great customer service. But the food is bad.
