Me and a good friend had lunch here and it surpassed my expectations. As someone whose fam is all in NOLA, the atmosphere nails it! I love the necklaces hanging from the light fixture as if Mardi Gras had went down. The staff are sweet, and the food was just everything I could have asked for. I could tell it came fresh off the press. It’s literally a little NOLA and I’m all for it!

Visiting this restaurant is one of many on the list in Omaha. A perfect place for a nice cajun meal. The dishes are plated in a homestyle way and the food, the food is delicious! I have not had a bad meal at this restaurant yet. The staff are super friendly and make you feel like you are eating at their home. A wonderful experience for eating a meal!

This is an amazing place for some good simple Cajun food. I don’t know what else to say other than they do it right here. The Po boys are excellent. The bread is perfect. I would highly recommend anyone who likes Cajun food to give it a try.

We just had a great experience having lunch here. I had the 5 pepper cream pasta and my husband had the soft crab sandwich. We shared the banana bread pudding with ice cream. We also shared an appetizer of boudin balls. Everything was very good. My husband commented that he enjoyed the sandwich more than a lobster roll. Dessert was fantastic! We chatted with the owner who has been there every time we’ve stopped there . He is always very friendly, helpful and attentive and you can tell he is passionate about his business. We sat outside on the lovely little patio. This is a great spot for a date or a few couples or even a family.

Small, VERY clean, cajun bar with at least one amazing dish, excited to come back and try more. Today I came after church and had the brunch crab cake benedict.. delicious!

We were really impressed by the service. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered the Crawfish Étouffée and the Five Pepper Cream, and while both dishes were well-seasoned and had plenty of spice, they strangely lacked real depth of flavor. It was as if the seasoning sat only on the surface. Additionally, the dishes tasted like they had been cooked earlier in the day and then reheated, which made the experience feel less fresh. Overall, great service and setting, but the food missed the mark.

We recently moved to Omaha and I finally got around to trying this place about a month after I had moved into town. I’m from Louisiana originally and was looking around for Cajun restaurants. I tried Mouth of the South once and it was just fine, but then I tried Acadian and I was blown away by the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the owners/employees. I go here for lunch about once a week and then I bring my family for brunch after church on Sunday. This is legit Cajun food that reminds me of home. My favorite items on the menu are the Black Cat, the Cajun meatloaf, the Crawfish poboy, and the bread pudding. I even tried frog legs for the first time and they were great here as well! The owners, Dan and Jennifer, are wonderful people and their daughters work here as well. You can tell that they take great pride in the place, the quality of the food, and enjoy interactions with their customers. It’s not just Cajun food they are great at either, and I’m always checking to see what new specials they are coming out with so I can have an excuse to go back again. We’re still trying out other restaurants in other parts of Omaha, and every time we have a less than excellent experience somewhere else, I tell my wife “should’ve gone to Acadian!”.
