Found this place on our last day in Maine.
Food was awesome – don’t sleep on the Lobster Mac! It was amazing.
Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the melted butter that came with our lobsters tasted like margarine
Rolls were amazing too- perfectly toasted.
And they directed us to their warehouse which was stocked with ready to ship lobsters and much more. Super cool find.

Had a fantastic New England style lobster roll. I’ve only ever had Maine style but oh my gosh, I am a new big time fan of this style because of this place. Would absolutely come back for this alone.

Look – I hiked Acadia and had not eaten all day so let that be the preface when I say this: This place has the best BBQ on the planet.
Now I’m sure that is an overstatement but when I sat down and looked at this gorgeous, heaping plate of food and took a bite it felt like I entered a new world. I had the pulled pork and tried some of the brisket and let me tell you that was tender and seasoned and the BBQ sauce was so good. The even toasted the buns! It is in the middle of nowhere but am so thankful that fate brought me here. The perfect end to a scenic day.

Very awesome outside atmosphere. Very welcoming. Owner gave my daughter a stuffed animal lobster and the bartender was very helpful with things to do around the area. Great music and seating. Would highly recommend! Great food too! Best lobster we’ve had yet!

Woah! What an amazing experience! First off we were GREETED with such a warm smile from EVERYONE! That’s the proper way to start a dinner service. Then we noticed the great prices and honestly could not believe that the mussels were $6? I ordered the cold sandwich and my wife ordered the hot. After I ordered and sat down I forgot to add extra drawn butter. I went to the chef and they said ,”oh don’t worry about we will give it to you for free”. After that the night just kept getting better and better. Not only was the food absolutely delicious and the best Lobster sandwich I ever had but the atmosphere was one that will be cherished forever. The best part was when we were leaving one of the employees gave my kids one baby stuffed animal Lobster each. That just made our night! Thanks again we will be back over and over again!

Staff uncommonly attentive and outstandingly friendly… excellent communication and service… excellent food – both for takeout and eating-in… clam chowder and lobster rolls awesome… And very importantly they are extremely dog-friendly… bring bowls of water to table and a cookie upon arrival
Would love to see fries or something as alternative to potato chips because that’s not our bag (no pun intended) but quality of food really is excellent!! Just a tip – the blue bistro lights are not very visible from road and a little less quaint, and your place is really outstanding so I wonder if more ppl would stop there with warm white bistro lights!!

Y’all… if you’re looking for BBQ that will make you feel like you might be in Texas- and Lobsta like you’re here in Maine look no further!! Total win on this find!! After 4.5 months here in Maine last summer and this summer for work- my world crew and I finally stopped in!! The service was great the food was delicious and we definitely will be coming back!! Prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food you’re given. The baked beans are a definite must as a side dish. The brisket filled my always never ending need for brisket (I get Texas brisket in Houston often) and this was a very close relic to the goodness that is Texas Brisket lean, flavorful, falls apart easily. 5 stars 2 thumbs up however you wanna say it. The lobster was great as well!! The pulled pork my coworkers ordered looked and smelled amazing!! We will DEFINITELY be back and often now that we know we can surf and turf it!! Great food great atmosphere awesome service from some totally awesome servers!!! I can’t say enough great things about Acadia Lobster and BBQ!
