I came here because I wanted an authentic Mexican dinner. It was close to my hotel so I chose this restaurant. I ordered a steak quesadilla and a skinny margarita. The margarita was ok. I didn’t like the food at all. It tasted like gravy inside the quesadilla. Very bland steak. No seasoning at all. The refried beans were dry. I really didn’t want to pay $31 for it but I did and got up and left. It was really a sad experience being that I’m from out of town and wanted a good experience here with my choice of restaurant.

Decided to stop in on my Bday, Wednesday, April 12th, to grab an afternoon eat with the wife, at the bar area.. All was good, but unfortunately, the Bartender Tessa made us feel like we were in the wrong restaurant this day. Perhaps she was having a day, but the wife said she had forgotten my drink. After 15 minutes, Tessa came by, and my wife said, “My drink,” and Tessa just said “Oh I forgot,” So, I did like the restaurant but we just didn’t feel welcomed this day.

First time here. Ordered Steak Raja – presentation was nice however the food was a little bland. Ordered Chicken Fajita Tacos – no flavour, could make this myself at home, nothing special. The service was excellent! The atmosphere is very nice and clean. The drinks we had were excellent as well.

Abuelita’s has an extremely fun and inviting atmosphere with a ceiling painted to look like this sky. An uplighting to make it look like you’re outside but in a comfortable environment. The food is phenomenal. The steak melts in your mouth. The shrimp has a slightly sweet seasoning but allows the delicate flavors of the shrimp to come through. We had fajitas for two and was out the door for about 40 bucks. This is a restaurant. I will be back too over and over again.
