We ordered a torta which we cut in half to share. The torta was disgusting. Super sloppy watery and messy with a lot of mayo. The meat was extremely seasoned with cumin or I don’t know what but it was so gross!!!! Sloppy service! Not what I want to get for MY money. Rather go somewhere else that offers good service and quality food!!! I don’t recommend.

The asada and al pastor tacos were absolutely delicious and came with rice and frijoles charros. We also ordered a barbacoa quesadilla that was amazing. They have fresh piña water as well as horchata! My husband and I have been looking for good authentic Mexican food in the Forney area and we’re so happy we found Abuelitos!

If there is anything that I know well, it’s good street tacos. And this ain’t it y’all. The meat was DRY. I’m talking DRY DRY. I couldn’t even get through 1 taco it was that bad. It took me drinking an entire bottle of Coke in order to swallow 1 bite. Not only was the carne asada dry, it was also very salty.

I’ve never had a better torta in my life, the pastor torta is the best thing I’ve ever had in my entire lifetime. I look forward to having it every weekend and it’s what keeps me positive throughout the week.I truly believe that Jesus himself made this creation. Half of our $86.60 order was wrong and we had 2 entrées that were missing. We were not given the price of the order over the phone but were told it would be ready in 25 minutes and the girl on the phone hung up on my wife . I drove 15 minutes to pick it up. It was ready on time. And we weren’t given a receipt. I realize it’s my fault that I didn’t check the order there. This is the second time out of 3 times that we have order that our order has been wrong. Once I got home and we started to eat we found hair in 3 separate boxes. 3 in the burrito, 1 in a quesadilla, and 3 in one of the taco boxes. All inside the food. Not just on top. We will not be ordering from this place again. Beware. Or at least check your food.

First off. Im a california transplant. I dont miss the politics or taxes, but i do miss my tacos. I tried over 10 places so far and i have found the best one. The barbacoa. Its little bit above average. Moist n flavorful. The Al pastor was above average in meat quality and flavor. Slightly dry but not a deal killer. The flavor n texture made this exceptional. The beef/steak. Wow. The best one so far. Reminds me of albertacos in orange county ca. But this one has better meat quality. Now I wish they had carne asada fries but ill have to mention this to the owner for a special order lol. The beef was flavorful and tender.
