Barbacoa!!!..God oh mighty please go get you some, never had i ever had barbacoa here in Dallas, and please don’t get me wrong I have tried it at many places though the years but always really had to wait to go visit my brother in Juarez Mx, to get the real deal, well this place have saved me the trip and I will always be thankful. My kids asked for Menudo so I got to try a little of that too. Well what can I say my mom used to make it and sell it so I know these people are from chihuahua and I little bird confirmed it.

This place came recommended by my wife and friend. The place is modest but the food was great. I got the taco plate made of carne asada. It came with rice and beans. I love that the salsa came in squeeze bottles so you can lather as much as you want on your food.

AMAZING!! The food at Abuelito’s is absolutely delicious and tastes so fresh. I could eat the tacos every single day; they are hands-down the best in the Forney area! The portions are generous, and the homemade salsas perfectly complement everything. Great value for the price, and the service is always fast and friendly.

The asada and al pastor tacos were absolutely delicious and came with rice and frijoles charros. We also ordered a barbacoa quesadilla that was amazing. They have fresh piña water as well as horchata! My husband and I have been looking for good authentic Mexican food in the Forney area and we’re so happy we found Abuelitos!

Stopped by for a second time today and the food is just as delicious. We tried the tacos de chicharrón and gorditas de asada and we were not disappointed. I have a feeling they will be our usual orders!

The Barbacoa tacos here are absolutely fantastic. I recommend them with their green sauce, which is also beyond delicious. When I’m starving in the morning, I get their nine dollar burrito that’s close to 2 to 3 meals, It’s so big! Best part is they usually have the burritos and breakfast tacos ready to be grabbed and just check out. Do you get fast service and delicious food. Can’t beat it

1st time being here about a week ago. My lady wanted menudo and we made the right choices. It was on point and good and comes with choice of tortillas or bread. We chose bread and you get more than a good portion of it. Also decided to get chicharron tacos and man were they amazing. Caution the orange looking sauce habanero I’m assuming will get you if you dont eat spicy. Overall would recommend this place to anyone. Sorry didn’t take a pic as we were hungry.

First off. Im a california transplant. I dont miss the politics or taxes, but i do miss my tacos. I tried over 10 places so far and i have found the best one. The barbacoa. Its little bit above average. Moist n flavorful. The Al pastor was above average in meat quality and flavor. Slightly dry but not a deal killer. The flavor n texture made this exceptional. The beef/steak. Wow. The best one so far. Reminds me of albertacos in orange county ca. But this one has better meat quality. Now I wish they had carne asada fries but ill have to mention this to the owner for a special order lol. The beef was flavorful and tender.
To top it all off the beans they give on the plate are so good. Its addicting. I never really care for beans until today.
This is a local gem. I hope they stick around for years to come. Ill be back!
