Was so good had lots of appetizers and the meal was so good and everything is made there as well definitely left super full also my server rodrigo was so very nice to me even when I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted chicken or beef quesadillas! but he was super nice and even more attentive bathrooms were also clean I can’t say enough good things about this place 10/10 would definitely come again❤️

I ordered a Stephen special, 2 beef enchilada dinners with sour cream sauce, and a small order of guacamole. Got it to go. Thank God I checked the food in the car and the Stephen special was missing. Go back in and got it. Get home and the guacamole is nothing but a big piece of hard avocado. Stephen special cold in the middle!!

Great hidden gem in Shawnee. Place is big inside so seating is usually easy. Food is more authentic than tex Mex. Relish is amazing! Shrimp salad is one of my favorite dishes. Comes with a unique hot salsa, lots of guacamole and a sliced avocado. Only reason why this is not a five star review is the new 3.5% charge for using a credit/debit card. The prices were already increased on all the meals during covid.

My wife had the enchiladas and I had the traditional tacos. I asked for the hotter salsa and it was delicious. Everything was amazing.

The hostess was somewhat rude. The waiter was attentative, and the food was great, as usual. When we were leaving, the register area was congested. There were 3 ladies trying to ring people up, while other patrons were waiting to be seated. One couple was completely missed… until I brought it to the hostesses attention. It was a complete cluster @*$%. Hopefully, this was a one time thing, and the next visit will be better.

There used to be a location in South Oklahoma City and then in Moore which have since closed. Our family ate there for years and was familiar with the family and the staff. The food at those locations was excellent. However, while visiting Shawnee, I found this location recently, but unfortunately, it was not at all what I remember. We were all highly disappointed. The staff was rude and hateful, the food was mediocre, our drinks didn’t get refilled, and the sopapilla’s were tough.

Every time we go to Abuelita Rosa’s it is just a little better. The salsa was especially good today! Really enjoy eating there, the staff are super nice. And I think they make improvements to the building often. Only thing I could ask for is a covered patio area to eat & drink in
