Very good restaurant that I will definitely visit again. This is your mom and pop local Italian Restaurant that serves the neighborhood. This was my first dining out experience since the lock downs were put in place (11 months), so I wanted to try something new (I’m glad I chose this place). The bar is across from the dining tables in the front as well as the slot machines, which not a typical restaurant setup, but the food is fresh and the owner asked about our experience at least twice when were eating which I think is a good thing. I was really surprised how good the chocolate lava cake was so definitely leave room for that dessert.

Oh my God….this place is fantastic. A small, homey, neighborhood spot that looks like a place DeNiro, Pesci, and Pacino would meet for a meal in a movie! Fantastic recipes, and outstanding, caring, personal service! Chris our waiter was so personable and knowledgeable! The owner was sweet and caring! We’ll definitely be back!

Melrose Park, being known for its authentic Italian restaurants, is a veritable treasure chest of top-notch family owned Italian eateries. A few go back generations as do their home cooked recipes. As such, no restaurant-hunting excursion would be complete without a stop to one of Melrose Park’s truly iconic Italian establishments. Abruzzo’s. I’ve been there often and it truly “never gets old”. My personal favorite is their weekday, M-F, lunch buffet. I’m 100% Italian and as a group we can be VERY picky when it comes to our food. That’s why I keep returning. I know REAL Italian food the moment I taste it. To sound cliched, it reminds me of Mom’s.

My brother and I ate there Thursday night it was absolutely mouth-waterly delicious everything we ordered we were So Satisfied we cannot wait to return from the bread amazing to the Baked clams, the stuffed artichoke the girl calamari linguine with white clam sauce my salad with a mixture of garlic and blue cheese dressing like I said we can’t wait to return we loved everything service was amazing thank you Abruzzio’s

Very friendly staff, huge menu. Grilled calamari salad was good but not special: a lot of romaine, few tomatoes, couple red onion rings, some green peppers, and just okay grilled calamari. Excellent bread. I think the way to go here is the pasta and Italian specialties like eggplant parmesan.

You get to eat outside but be prepared for the outer area next to u filled with smokers ruining a smoke free area. The food tasted wonderfuland the server was very nice. I would like to go back but the smoke was a bust for me.

About the same quality as Maggianos, although the meatballs were far better then any other place I have been. The biggest turnoff of this place is the 1 refill and you must pay for another on soft drinks. It is 2020, nobody doesnt have unlimited free refills, unless you want to look cheap. Other then that our server was awesome. Being cheap on the refills is the reason I would never go back. Good for a 1 time visit.

Found this place on google it looked nice and was rated well and let me tell you this restaurant deserves the five stars I’m giving it. I’m so glad we decided on going there the food was DELICIOUS! Best Italian food I’ve found in years. The staff was super attentive, cozy environment, I had some of everything ordered at the table and every entree was better than I’ve had anywhere else I cant see how you could chose wrong here. Also if you enjoy a cocktail their expresso bean cocktail was exceptional as well. I can’t stress enough how worth it this place is.

Old school Italian restaurant feel and friendly wait staff. Fried calamari was fresh and cooked perfectly. My partner and I both enjoyed our pasta dishes, with good portion sizes and the alfredo sauce was creamy and tasty. Seasonal martinis are delicious. Would recommend
