Came in on a beautiful spring Sunday to sit on patio for lunch. Service is wonderful, the big tree out on the patio is shady and welcoming and the music and vibe is chill and a great spot for a Sunday lunch. The chicken wings are awesome, marinated and cooked to perfection with crispy skin. The sandwiches are on fresh ciabatta bread and the kettle potato chips are handmade and cooked crisp and crunchy! I had the mortadella and this took me back to my childhood lunch meat sandwiches with a new twist and tasty flair. Loved it! This is such a great spot in Andover with fresh and made from scratch tasty food with TVs to watch sport and just an all around awesome bar and bistro. We will be back!!

Insane! The vibes of this place are great. I think they did an amazing job with this place! We ate on the bar side and it was delicious! The burgers and homemade bread was to die for! For the price you can not beat it and the drinks are great. The Abode water is my favorite. Definitely recommend.

We decided to try Abode on a Friday afternoon (1:30-2:00) thinking it would be less crowded. First, it is a smaller place so that needs to be taken into consideration. The bar stools at the tables aren’t very comfortable as they are a bit smaller and I’m not a big person. The table we chose was one of two available and it was a bit messy but we figured the waitress would wipe it clean once she got to us. It didn’t happen but the rest was a really good experience.
FOOD: The food was very delicious! We had the chips and salsa for an appetizer and enjoyed it. The three different salsas each had their own positive trait and we mixed em up a bit. My wife got the prosciutto melon salad and loved it. I got the special Rodeo burger and it was fabulous!
SERVICE: Even at 2 PM, the place was still busy so one server for everyone was a bit too much. She was friendly and managed to do decent but she could have used some help.
ATMOSPHERE: it’s a rather small but nice and quaint place that’s easy to enjoy. They’ve really fixed the place up. Great dining experience!
All in all, we rather enjoyed the meal and time spent there. Average pricing that you would see anywhere else. Thanks Abode!

There are two parts to this restaurant there is the bar with your traditional bar food that is elevated and then there is a fine dining side. We made reservations and had the fine dining tonight. The chef Marco is make dishes that are hands down the best thing to eat anywhere in the Wichita area. The duck was perfectly cooked and had an amazing mole with it. The coffee teres major had a perfect balance of flavor with a slight touch of heat that makes you want more. I am not a professional food critic or restaurant reviewer so one of the real pros needs to go and try what this place is doing. And let the rest of the city know where they should be going for every special occasion in the future. Marco I will be back and I look forward to trying every last dish you come up with.

Atmosphere and service was wonderful! Our server was attentive and friendly. Cute little spot especially for Andover. We both ordered the smash burger. It wasn’t bad but it lacked flavor.

We went on a Sunday at about 1:30 pm. It was very busy with people outside, and in the cafe. We did not look at the bar side, but I bet it was packed. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting. It was decorated very well and was very well kept and clean. The staff were very friendly and nice to talk with. We got a menu from the wall by the entrance and ordered a cinnamon roll, coffees, a breakfast club and the jaguar jack. The breakfast club was much more sweet than I expected. I would have liked more salt. My husband said the jaguar jack was not spicey like the descriptions suggested and could use more of a kick. The coffees were not very impressive and they were so hot that we both burned our mouths, so don’t make our mistake, let it cool down first. . The cinnamon roll was very soft and had cream cheese icing, but I felt it coated my mouth with a weird film. Overall it was alright food-wise, the staff were great, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

I just had lunch there today. The renovations to the old Rusty Rooster are tasteful and clean. At this time only the bar side is open with a menu of mostly sandwiches and salads. My mortadella sandwich was delicious and the Abode Water drink was tasty and refreshing. The “fine dining” side is scheduled to open April 18. I’m eager to try it.

Ordered a Coconut milk cappuccino. I would say the flavor is neutral. I forgot to ask which roast was used. I believe they use a roaster out of KC.
The building and interior are very cool. Small but a nice amount of room for people to sit and chat/work.
The regular coffee appears to be accessed via carafe.
They also have a good food selection.
Oh and a drive through is available.
They’re adding parking which is good because they had a steady flow of cars many of which had to park in another lot. So it’s good to see the locals visiting the shop.
