Cool traditional dinner. Lots of menu options and good food. Highly recommend for a quiet place to eat with family and friends. Nice staff. Plan to spend about 20-25 per person.

Ended up here after a close by Texas Roadhouse had a 1.5 hour wait on a Saturday, and I was blown away. Delicious chicken quesadilla appetizer followed by the ribeye steak with a potato baked to perfection. Strongly recommend!

Was in the restaurant for just under 15 min and only had our drink order taken. The wait staff helped other tables near us. The restaurant was less than half full. The lack of service felt intentional and biased. Will not be back.
When I first walked in I also came up to the bar to ask if the outside seating was open and then only person who came over was a younger lady. She was also the one to take our drink order. She was the only one who ever helped or acknowledged us in the restaurant. My baby was sleeping and we just wanted to go out for a nice breakfast where we could bring a stroller. Would have been a nice place to eat if they ever helped us.

It was very blah. My husband and I waited 5 minutes to be seated. There was no line! Nobody came to seat us and they were not busy. Servers and staff looked at us and walked right by us. Very confusing.
Everything tastes “box made” nothing was homemade including the pancakes and pie.
Coffee tasted burnt and we had to ask 3 times for water.
Only positive was that the food came out quickly. Server was rude and the pie they promoted on the board was out.

I got the cranberry and walnut pancakes with grits and an egg. I think that combo works well for the pancake but I’m not sure I’d get it again. There wasn’t much grits in the bowl and they were runny which I wasn’t expecting. It’s pretty hard to mess up a scrambled egg. The service is top notch here. The servers make sure your drink stays filled and are great at giving recommendations. I would come back again to try their blueberry pancakes.

Best Breakfast in Central Ohio !!!
Don’t be fooled by the dark, bar-like appearance from the door… this is NOT a chain restaurant, but a genuine old school diner with high quality charbroiled steak & eggs, breakfast burritos and much more. They even have grits. I’m definitely coming back for lunch.

Found another hidden gem! We found Abner’s searching for a diner. When we got to Abner’s there was another family there and the place seemed empty. Abner’s has a large menu with a large variety of choices. It was difficult to decide on something because you might think can everything be good because they don’t seem to specialize in any. We all had a variety of food and everyone was very happy! The stuff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious

The service was good, the food was just OK. I saw good reviews about the biscuits and gravy, so I tried it. The biscuits were very plain and gravy did didn’t have much flavor. My wife had the open faced roast beef, she wasn’t pleased either.

Good food, competitive pricing, good service. Some people have complained about pricing, but for what it is, I think it’s alright. It’s not like their pricing is anywhere near that of a Cameron Mitchell restaurant.

I’ve visited Abner’s around 10 times, and unfortunately, I’ve had the same experience each visit. The service consistently feels unfriendly—at times even borderline rude. I truly want to support a local business, but it’s difficult when you leave feeling like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.
