Great Birthday placee with free dinner , a cupcake, and a song for the Birthday Girl! She turned 85! Party of 9 served in good order. We got candles on a chocolate chip skillet cookie. Trivia was starting and we played the first round. Food was delightful, Mom and I had scallops. Fresh! A fun time had by all!!

One of my number 1 favorite restaurants!! This is my yearly birthday spot! They have the best sirloin tips around! And all their other food has always been great as well! The people are so nice and considerate. My birthday was the other day so I stopped in with my kiddos and they brought the food out not long after the appetizer so we weren’t ready, they said they can bring it to the back while we start our appetizer. It was really busy so by the time we were ready for our food, they came out and said “they are making you guys all new dishes so it’s fresh” , I didn’t even ask them to do that, they did it on their own! I love this place and will forever be my go to place!

This is a review of the their function room. We celebrated our 50th anniversary there. The dedicated servers kept the flow going, helping us to best manage the 4 hour block. From initial call, to iquiries along the way, to day of event function staff available, professional and ever so helpful. Great reviews from family and friends on food and room. We initially were planning to rent a hall and hire caterers-OMG this was worth every penny and so much more relaxing in every way. Have been to the function room as guests for events hosted by others but this was the first time we had contracted for our personal use. We had 41 guests (and a highchair) and it was comfortably spacious.

The waiter and waitress we had were so attentive and kind. They even helped with the cupcake presentation.
All of the food was delicious and there was plenty when ordered from the banquet menu.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for another event.

We enjoy the Ale House. My grandkids love it and have their favorite waitress, Lynn. But we cannot forget Maggie who is always smiling and Cindy makes the best spicy Bloody Mary in Abington and always so very nice. All the employees are very nice.

Came here on a saterday afternoon was slow not a lot of people at all which was fine by me . My friend and I were sat fast . The rest of the service was bad real bad from the 22 min it took just to get waters then put in a drink order then waiting for the girl to come back with what our orders were for drinks then by the time drinks gone we were not even hungry no more to ordering . To then having to ask around for the check which we confirmed 4x to be separate finally get the check right to asking 7 yes seven 7 x for a to go container. The only thing that was great was the food portion and taste fries were cold but blame them on the waitress . Sad cause the haunted stuff decor and houses are great the restaurant is clean and atmosphere is great . I will say the young man I met at the haunted house was great very friendly so nice out of his way kind of guy he was really a great employee to have think his name was Alex .

Had a wonderful dinner on the patio this evening. Had a short wait for a table but was eventually seated in Caroline’s section. The indoor patio is nice and spaced out well. It’s also open so there’s some good ventilation but also shaded. The extensive menu is arguably too big but I enjoyed both my French onion soup ($8.50) and my Caesar salad ($11.50). My wife’s house burger was good, nicely cooked, and came with tots. My kid devoured her hot dog while playing with the crayons they provided.
They also have some daily specials and some craft beer although they don’t really have a dedicated craft beer menu, but they only list it as seasonal on the menu which is a bummer and kind of a hassle having to ask.
All in all it was a good experience and I’d definitely return. There’s also plenty of parking.

We enjoyed a dinner on a Friday night , the food was really good. JB was our waiter and he was nice and attentive. We got the fried pickles for an app, and the steak special for that day for $28 and the brisket dinner for $21. Everything was very good.
