Great fish fry Fridays (with other options too for the non-fish lovers). Our table had cod and carp and everyone enjoyed their food. We also got some kolaches, the cherry was amazing with such soft and tasty dough.

A hidden gem! We enjoyed a fabulous Czech lunch of roast pork, dumplings, kraut and rye bread. They had one very hardworking staff member working the crowded dining room and cash register. Abie’s Place has some incredible baked goods to go. I can’t wait to go back.

My late husband and I had planned to make the drive from Lincoln to Abie for it’s renowned Wednesday offering of pork, sauerkraut, dumplings, and rye bread. Sadly, we didn’t get there before he passed. But I was very happy to finally visit Abie’s Place today in his honor. The food was hot, delicious, and authentic Czech fare. Outstanding! My beloved Bohemian husband would have approved! ❤️
