We’ve visited Abe’s Restaurant a number of times during the past 10 years. Their service has always been a high point of our visits. The food, however, has been a mixed bag. Sometimes good but, just as often, only fair. Our latest visit on a Sunday night was yet another mixed bag. We ordered a 1/3 lb. mushroom Swiss burger ($7.59), an order of chicken fingers (5 pcs – $8.69), a small order of fries ($4.19), and two beverages. The restaurant was mostly empty when we visited. Our food was served up very hot around 15 minutes later. The burger was tasty and very good, but the “chicken fingers” were another story. They were not like any other chicken fingers that I’ve ever eaten. They were simply five tiny 4″ chicken tenders. Add to that, they were completely tasteless. They looked like chicken but had no chicken flavor whatsoever. I ate three of them and the rest went into the garbage. There’s no excuse for that. Regardless of how good the burger was, charging $8.69 for five tasteless chicken tenders is the last straw for us. And that’s so sad because the prices here are fairly reasonable. There are much better restaurants in nearby Spencerport that we’ll visit instead. Thanks for reading.

I have been coming here since I was a kid I have very fond memories of my dad bringing my sister and I here. There were times we would go for dinner, just for Ice Cream or for both dinner and Ice Cream. I’ve never had a bad meal there staff is very friendly however the only issue I have is a lot of times the tables are dirty and need to be wiped down. It is a cash only place, there is a ATM on site if you don’t have cash on you. Prices are very affordable and you get a lot for your money. The Beef on Wick is absolutely amazing and out of this world every part of the sandwich is so delicious. The beef is so flavorful and juicy no fat at all on it, the Au Jus is delicious and the Wick Roll is PERFECT! It has the perfect amount of salt and seeds on it. On my visit a few days ago I got the Beef on Wick with fries and beef gravy. My sister got a Hamburger plate with fries and potato salad she loved her meal as well.

This place is great. It’s like a log cabin and has lots of Abe Lincoln memorabilia on the walls.
It’s no frills but that’s the best part. You read the paper menu and then go to the register and order and pay. The guy taking your order will bring your food to you. We have never been here but we learned the guy who took our orders name was Tom and he was a great guy.
The food came out fast and was everything you want in a diner. This place doesn’t overload the grill with butter like some diners and I appreciate that.
This place is cash only and they have an ATM if you didn’t know that. You have to have great food to do business this way. This helps them keep the prices lower than a lot of places around.
I ordered the steak and eggs. And if you look at the picture and think they didn’t cook my steak just know I always ask for my steak “as rare as you will cook it” and to me this was perfect. Thanks Tom for not being afraid to do it as I say.
Everything else was great and the home fries have good flavor and are cooked through if you’re a home fries eater you’ll know what that means.
Excellent place you will not be disappointed if this is the style of place you dig.

The place was immaculate, and clean, but onion rings were greasy as heck and nothing in them. No taste at all, poor quality. Not sure I’d go back for anything, hamburgers are really small and fries are really small orders, even the sweet potato fries.

Lamb chops had a lovely Demi glacé. Caesar salad was served in a basket of baked shredded cheese.

Stopped here with my brother. Garbage plate was really good. Burgers have a nice sear on them and the portion was huge. I wish it was closer to where I live, Abe’s would be my new go to spot.

Wanted to try a new place other than fast food! It brought me here to Abe’s! And glad it did. Friendly staff, good juicy burger. Different atmosphere geared around Abraham Lincoln! Enjoined it would come back!

This is a place you order your food at the counter and pay. They will give you a number and bring your food to the table. The staff was friendly. The food came out quickly. We even stayed for dessert. The only complaint here is that the spoons are too flimsy for hard ice-cream. Over all a descent place. I’ll be back to get the breakfast.
