Bacon egg and cheese salt pepper light mayo on an egg bagel. Got to see it made behind the counter while the chef and owner talked about the day. Food looked so immaculate that it could make any bad day amazing. 10 outa 10 would get again and again

So I just happened to stop in here today, work took me to this little strip mall and I figured why not, I stood outside in the five degrees, why shouldn’t I get a bagel?? I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised all around, both the staff and the food turned out to be great. I had an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, which I rarely order but it looked really good in the case. The bagel was great, toasted crispy on the outside but nice and soft inside. The ‘everything’ mix was solid too, and not a mix of poppy seeds, pretzel salt, and burned garlic like some places will give you. The cream cheese was appropriately applied, and tasted very fresh. I ate the entire thing on the way home, like some kind of mid-commute carb-fiending troll. I’m not proud of myself. I also got a toasted corn muffin with butter, supposedly ‘for later’, but after the bagel I just had to try it. I’m sitting in my driveway now, writing this review and finishing the muffin (also excellent). Normally I would never tell anyone this but I’m so happy (and fat) with this breakfast that I’ll debase myself to plug this bagel shop. They were super nice, very welcoming, and quick to put my food together. I hope work sends me down this way again.

I was visiting family in Rockaway, NJ, and kept hearing about these “real” Jersey bagels. This shop totally delivered. As soon as I walked in, it smelled amazing. The bagel selections were huge, and everything looked perfectly baked and golden, which made it really hard to choose.
I tried a few classic kinds, and they were perfect: crispy on the outside, super chewy on the inside, and just tasted like nothing we have in Texas.
But the best part was the service. The owner was super welcoming and actually took time to talk, which made me feel right at home even though I’m from Texas. You can tell they really love what they do.
Honestly, these bagels were so good they had to be part of my carry-on! I literally flew a dozen of them back to Texas because nothing down here compares. If you’re nearby, or even just passing through like I was, you absolutely have to stop here. Five stars for sure!

First time here and the first thing that caught my attention was how clean it was and good it smelled in there. The place is really cute and stylish. They keep their inventory well stocked. The staff was super friendly and warm. It felt like I was getting breakfast at my Nonna’s house lol. Food and coffee was delicious definitely recommend eating here.

Stopped by Abe’s while in town for a wedding and had an incredible breakfast sandwich – easily 5 stars for taste, freshness, and portion size. Besides the food, I was blown away by the friendliness, promptness, and cleanliness of the staff. Just an overall great experience and would highly recommend!

Their bagels are fresh, baked every day. Some bagel shops have a weird smell to their bagels. Not here, they put out the best bagels in the area, hands down. Great coffee and friendly service.

This place is the best! My dad and I have been coming here since they opened and Abe is just an all around great guy who deserves for his business to succeed! His bagels are so delicious and if you are new in the area for sure come try these bagels !

We are from out of state and stopped in before heading home. They were all really nice, and it was clear that the locals loved them. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I had their French toast bagel and it was the best I’ve ever had. They even gave us a free on which was unexpected but super sweet. If I was local, I would come here every week.

Abe has been there a couple years. Not sure why I never went in. But recently have, and they are fantastic!!! Super friendly atmosphere. And Abe is a huge supporter of local town and Highschool teams. Can’t go wrong getting coffee and a bagel here!

I moved to Rockaway back in 2022 and it took me some time to finally find a bagel spot (flash forward it’s 2024), love this place. So good I went two days in a row (yesterday and today haha). The service was great, the bagels are fresh, the French toast bagel delicious, they have non-pork options, and most importantly it’s clean and not run down like the surrounding bagel shops. Definitely a must try, worth the UTURN.
