Found this place through social media and decided to give it a try. 1st impression – small space with limited seating capacity. Clean and inviting, including a very cute sing unisex restroom. It was quickly apparent to is that the owner runs the place all by herself. Hence, the table hasn’t been cleared from the previous customers after 30 minutes of our arrival. The menu was evenly weighted between the dim sum and other alacart dishes. It was wide variety of selections from upon, to teriyaki to spam fried rice. We were impressed.

Lack of staffing also affected the service level somewhat. Order placed about 10 minutes from the time we received the menu. We went with the usual har gaw, siu mai, and bbq buns, but added sunroof a bit different deep fried shrimp rolls, then added wonton soup and shrimp fried rice for good measures.

Food took about another 30 minutes but started trickling in at a good pace after. The dim sum dishes were worth the wait. Both har gaw and siu Mai were piping hot, fresh, plump, and juicy. They all tasted like homemade, little to no fillers like flour or fat compared to other places.

The steamed BBQ buns were my favorite. They were also filled with visible chunks of meat and not fat. Thin skin and pack full of char siu flavor.

Deep fried shrimp rolls were crispy on the outside and juicy on the onside.

Though flavorful, a bit of a miss in the wonton considered they used thick skin jiao zi or gyoza style dumpling instead of the Hong Kong thin skin version. Wonton (swallowing clouds) didn’t get a good representation here.

The fried rice also missed out on a few essential key flavors. Lacking in “wok hei,” missing the white pepper flavor, and rice weren’t as dry as fried rice should be.

Overall, there were things that could have been better. We felt that this place still deserves our 5☆☆☆☆☆s rating.

At the end of our meal, we had the chance to speak to the owner and learned that she is from Hong Kong, reflected in the decoration, and had the place over 9.

We wo be back to try their other dishes.

Food was excellent… she makes everything fresh and deserves all the praises. She runs the place by herself. Service is wonderful. However, the speed is due to being the only person there. Be patient. Dishes were delicious and comes out hot. Will definitely come again. Restaurant is very clean.

Bad food, service, and experience. Very awkward dining experience, very quiet, and not welcoming at all. Food did not have quality or wow factor, despite multiple social media posts. Everything tasted old, microwaved, and bland. Super disappointing.

Sooo delicious! I have been here about 5 times now. The buns are amazing. Everything is made to order. I’ve had the fish and beef hot dishes now.
They must be doing something right as there are always people here that speak Cantonese as a first language. Tonight we were the only English speakers with a nearly full store.

I love this place so much. Affordable food and cozy atmosphere. Everything is cooked fresh so you’ll have to wait for a bit. I got the beef hot pot and my boyfriend got the honey garlic chicken. The dim sum was great too.

Myself and my entire family (6) rate this restaurant a 10/10. Genuinely the best Dim Sum we’ve had. Fresh and delicious. Cleanliness of the restaurant was also a 10/10. I’m not sure how new this place is but I don’t think I’ve ate at another restaurant as clean as this one. They also gave our littles cute little Hello Kitty/Sanrio cups to use while at the restaurant (for water). Don’t second guess it, go try it out.

The food was amazing. It’s very small.
Looks like the owner is the only person there and does all the cooking and serving.
The food really was good. This might be my new go to dim sum place.
Don’t let the name fool you, come here and get your Cantonese and dim sum – it’s legit!

I came here thinking it was a Boba joint, but I was wrong. More food focused! The Boba tea isn’t that special, but food is awesome!

Big language barrier here, but a little patience and humility goes a long way. She’s a one-woman restaurant team! She’s pretty shy at first, but super friendly once she recognizes you.

Food is solid. Love everything I’ve eaten here so far. If it’s your first time, I recommend the Spicy Sichuan Fish Fillet w/ steamed rice, Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Fried Rice, BBQ Pork and Salted Chicken Wing plate (secret menu item now that they updated the menu), and some dim sum like Siu Mai, Xiao Long Bao. The BBQ Pork is legit here.

The space is intimate, with some near pictures and art on the walls. This place ranks my top 3 favorite Auburn restaurants.
