Best breakfast ever! Pancakes were light and fluffy. Hash was not greasy with good flavor. The American fries were great and tasty. Eggs were cooked just to order. My husband ate the Haystak and he said it was “most delicious”

We stumbled upon Abella’s this morning. What a pleasant surprise. The food was good. The prices were reasonable and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. I was a little concerned, because everyone who came in seemed to be a regular. I thought the wait staff might be so busy talking to the regulars, that our service might suffer. This was not the case. Abby took very good care of us. She made us feel welcome.

This place is so wonderful! The people are always so friendly, the owner is a genuinely good guy, and the decor is perfect for a small-town diner. The food, though, is amazing. Personally I’d recommend either the “Pony Shoe” or the “Captain Crunch French Toast.” The latter might sound strange; but trust me, it is delicious!

We absolutely adore Abella’s. The Sunday buffet is absolutely stellar and the owner is kind and accommodating. We love their wide selection of hot sauces- I’m pretty sure we’ve tried all of them and discussed them at length. I took a survey and 10/10 would recommend. Great food and great people!

The food was bland and the waitress was nice but way to attentive. Worst bbq sandwich ever. It was way to touch, partially burnt and had no flavor. The bbq sauce was somewhat ok. The ponyshoe my husband had was not that great.

They serve the best food. I love going there for breakfast whenever I’m in Carlinville. They have the best biscuits and gravy hands down! The gravy is perfect, not watered down or lacking that good pepper taste like other restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is wonderful.

Abella’s will always hold a special place in my heart. There’s a reason this diner has been in business for over a decade. The owner is probably one of the best people I’ve met; he cares so much about his business that he works with his staff and talks to his customers. The restaurant itself has a cozy and warm atmosphere. The staff are ALL wonderful people and provide outstanding service. The food is the best part: it’s fresh and flavorful. The coffee is to die for. Best in the county; hands down. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the best diner Macoupin County has to offer.

Cute little Dinner. The building itself needs updating but that is from a. Greedy slum lord not the restaurant owner trying to make it. Service is quick and friendly. Food has small portions. The sausage was not pork???? Pies are very lovely. Danishes are great. Just an average small town dinner. The most awesome part is they have free wifi!!! It works very nice!! This town is a cellphone dead zone. Nice little ray of lite in a internet calamity zone!!
