Its Tuesday and they have a 5 tacos for $6 deal. I paid, drove home and opened up the box and one of the taco shells didn’t even have anything in it. The rest of the tacos maybe had a tablespoon worth of meat and a sprinkle of cheese and lettuce. I drove all the way back across town and showed it to them and there was no apology or anything. She just looked at me and just said, “I can give you your money back” didn’t offer an apology or to remake the food. Just went straight to giving my money back. A few years ago I used to go there aver couple of weeks on tuesdays to take advantage of the taco deal for lunch. It was always amazing and filled me up. This place has gotten worse more and more since then. I do not recommend going here. The other stuff seems to be over priced also.

Stopped here for lunch while in town after a few weeks in Mexico City. Anyplace with Menudo on the menu screams authentic to me, and I was not disappointed. The tacos al pastor were fabulous. As far as I’m concerned, this is a single best Mexican restaurant in Hutchinson by far.

I was recommended to come here and try their food. The service was very nice and patient while I looked at the menu to see what to try. I opted for some chicken tacos and nachos and guacamole. I wasn’t expecting to have shredded cheese and some guacamole sauce (didn’t taste like guacamole at all) just thrown onto some chips and called finished.
First impressions are important and I know lots of people have their positive notes about this place. Unfortunately, I didn’t expect the unexpected and will be deterred from coming here for a while.

I was traveling thru town with a trailer, swung in and grabbed some lunch to go. Staff and atmosphere of the restraunt itself was fantastic, honestly if I’d eaten in, it probably would have made up for the cruddy food. Ordered 5 street tacos and quesabirria tacos. Same thing I normally get from their STL and DSM locations. First off, the amount of meat/grilled onions on the street tacos was so much LESS than any other location, I almost went back to ask if I was being pranked, after eating one and tasting how hard and dry the meat was, I was convinced they intentionally gave me a bad plate. After suffering through (3) street tacos (salsa did a great job of making up for meat), I tried a Quesabirria. First indication should have been the thick almost gelatinous consomé, second should have been the lack of it on the tacos. Meat was tough large chunks, not the usual shredded, tender, marinated meat. After having the food, not hard to see why the parking lot was pretty much empty at 1255. Not sure if they were just having an off day, or if food is always this bad, either way it’s a tough look especially for $35 for 8 tacos and a Mexican coke.

From the outside, this looks like your typical Ado‘s but when you go in and order your food, you’ll soon find out that the weight is not typical. In addition the two items that I ordered one being a quesadilla and the other street tacos both were saturated in oil to the point they were Not edible. Management did not care about the quality of the food . Completely unacceptable and most disgusting!!!

OMG !! The portions are HUGE and the food is awesome. So glad we stumbled in for lunch. The Carne asada Nachos are so big that we fed 2 people. Definitely not a bad choice, will be back again real soon to try other menu items.

This taco shop tastes like the OG ones found in SoCal and Arizona – which is great because it’s a unique flavor experience that I rarely find in my travels.
Don’t bother asking for a wet burrito or something with fries inside it, take this opportunity to go straight to the carne asada burrito. It’s a simplistic blend of pico, guacamole and seasoned diced beef wrapped in a giant tortilla that tastes amazing. Pour some taco sauce over each bite and enjoy.
The carne asada tacos tasted great as well.
This is now a must stop for us when driving near Hutchinson.
