Since 1937, Abdalla’s Tavern & Grill has been serving delicious homemade meals along the beautiful Ohio River in Stratton, Ohio. Our specialty has been our famous New York Strip Steak dinner, covered in mouth watering sautéed mushrooms and grilled onions, served with buttered JoJo Potatoes and our popular house dressing salad. People have been known to drive for hundreds of miles to enjoy this delicious meal.

Usually the steaks here are very good but must’ve been a rough day. Steaks were tough, did not seem tenderized and way under cooked. We all ordered medium. Maybe go later in the day, dinner time. This was our first time during a lunch time. 1pm

I have heard for years that they have the best steak ever so me and my wife went there tonight. Drove 45 min one way. Waited for a table for 20 minutes. We ordered it was an hour and 30 minutes before we got our meal after we ordered. We had ordered fried pickles with ranch dressing. The pickles came waitress said she’d be right back with the ranch dressing then 25 minutes later to waitress, came back after we had told her we needed the ranch dressing and said is there anything you need and I said yeah take these pickles back they were cold. Never got the ranch dressing. The steak It was good but if people think that is a great steak, I don’t know where they’re eating because it’s far from great I would take a Texas roadhouse steak any day of the week before their steak $30 for a strip steak and a baked potato I’ll never go back. oh and its cash only no credit cards

Wow this place is a little “hole in the wall”. Tiny little place but amazing customer service, great food and giant portions! My only critique is that the steak with onions and mushrooms tasted a little over seasoned,in my opinion, but was still yummy. Don’t come here if you’re on a diet lol

This place is a small diner style place. The dress attire is relaxed with the staff extremely nice and friendly, knowledgeable of their menu. I ordered their 14 oz steak which was amazing, cooked to perfection as I ordered it medium which it was, the baked potato came clean from the skin and was delicious. My wife had the shrimp and Jo Jo’s that were delicious and our salads were fresh. Our bill was very affordable, we will definitely be back to this establishment and recommend this place if you’re looking for something different and down to earth.

I love abdallas. I took my husband tonight for steak for his birthday. Our server was rude. I’m a regular but it was ridiculous because I order fried mushrooms. I was still eating and she took my mushrooms away without a hesitation. My husband told her and she tried blaming the other server. We both knew it was her. Just ridiculous to spend money on something you wasn’t allowed to finish it.

Really good steak !! I suggest med we’ll or more cause of how thick they are !! House dressing is ok but the red onions in it were soooo good !!! Great atmosphere even better tunes playing and of course the football game was on and that was just fine with us !!!! We will definitely be back out soon!!! Get there early like five as it fills up pretty quickly the waitresses were really nice and attentive so that’s always a plus they had like four TVs also and the beer was really really cold so that was a big plus !
